Thanks Sahil and Kakargirl. I read a book in Peshawar which was about the idea of aesthitics in different cultures (was just an essay) just theoritically not practically using it ...I think one can use it to create beautiful computer images/animations.

I never got the chance to study Math. It's one of my biggest desires.

unhiddentruth, maths is a beauty...both at theoritical and applied level...and when you solve a problem, that gives you immense pleasure...same true of writing algorithms ....

Golden ratio 1.618 the perfect number made some peoples misserable lifes in to happy ones all due to this number and this genius dr stephen maquardt who was responsible for aesthetic perfection , fitting a chin on a patient and making it work aesthetically but often when the bandages came off he wasnt satisfied with the work as the chin wasnt working quite right on a aesthetic level so often he would go and sit alone and think what is he doing wrong how can he perfect his work, so he started studying the faces he collected pictures of all the beautiful people of the world and measured and drew on there faces at the end of the reasearch he found that the ten golden triangles made the perfect golden decagon and the mask was created the beauty mask after that he did all his ops based on that mask and got each nose right each ear chin ect perfect all thanks to golden ratio 1.618 the amazing number , the beauty is often said that its in the eyes of the beholder but its not true in the mathematic world beauty is golden ratio if the mask fits perfectly every single person will find that person beautiful as that person is beautiful thats a golden ratio fact , we did a similar study to this in my private all girls school in maths when experts were called and the ten golden triangles were drawn on each face the girl that fit it was beautiful and had proportion but it fits very few people .
