17 or 18 hours in California....depends on what area. Southern California i would say about 17. Bay Area is about 17.5. And Northern Cali (where i live) is about 18Comment

It also depends on what time one wakes up for the sehari. We like getting up early because we want to get some sleep before heading off to school/work.

Oh sorry guys, i miscalculated. Southern California is 15.5. I believe so is Bay Area. Then Northern Cali is 16 hours.
imagine how long it will be for me when it comes to June and July. California wont do its iftaar until 9:30 pm
Sweden has it worse, they do it more than 18 hours.
