  • Exercise/working out in Ramadan

I was wondering what you all think about working out during this blessed month. In Islam, we are supposed to keep fit, and eat less. The Prophet(pbuh) said that we should not make our stomach a graveyard of animals.

Is it OK to run right before the fast ends?

felt like going jogging today but by the time i found my running shoes the idea had worn out it's novelty...

I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.

non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar.

depends if you run regularly it shouldn't be a problem, but if you look like one of those thunder belly uncles best not push it, your heart beat will tank

and also 30 minutes before fast your energy is better utilized praying and stuff
It's enough that I know, Our time had a home, In your heart..Was a place..But the glass always breaks..

The Ramadan Nutrition and Workout Plan for Success Part I
The Beloved Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, so beautifully advised his nation when he said:

“Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day let him speak good or remain silent.” [Bukhari and Muslim]

I would not have the stamina to run 30 minutes before maghrib, usually at this time I am making iftar for my family. My gym is open 24-hours so this month I've been going during non-fasting hours.

I lifted weights yesterday, it is different when you don't have much water in your system.

I do work out in ramadhan but not to fail..so not light but not too heavy either. Just ok. I work out three times a week- monday wednesday and friday. Each of the days I do 2 different compound exercises and that a little bit of push ups and sit ups. The other days I jog lightly.
