Don't just treat the symptoms , find the cause and eliminate it from there.
Yeah i was thinking of this as well.

DZJ, if your eyes hurt along with your forehead and cheeks, its definitely sinuses. It sort of has a feeling of a brick on your face kinda, in which, herbal medications wont really do anything.

There is a clinically tested herbal blend to treat clogged sinuses called sinupret...if I remember correctly it has cowslip, verbena, gentian root, etc. It underwent a few research trials and was concluded to be effective.

Most of the time Sinusitis is confused with other problems and because nobody ever diagnoses it people think they are actually having a sinus problem when it fact it is something else....

No but there are things like Butterbur for that as well as others.

When the pressure becomes worse upon leaning your head forward or turning your heard swiftly, its more likely a sinus issue.

So you make a diagnosis just based on that?

In Austria they use the oil of Chamomile diluted in water, either heated or not, and wash the eye with it. I have used that for my eye infections. Also it is good to take breaks from using the computer as it and its glare can contribute to eye pain. I have a sty on my right eye-lid, used the Chamomile which took care of one of them, and took the pain and itching away from the other.

Swedish bitter poultice provides relief to tired eyes excessively. If tearing or throbbing pain in the eyes, infusion of yarrow can be helpful.
