I got chiken pox :(

it's so weird how yesterday i was perfectly fine with a few "pimples" as i thought they were and today i woke up and looked at my self in the mirror and they were every where!! im the only one in the family who never got vaccinated for chiken pox for some odd reason

does anyone know how long they last? and do they leave pock marks?
my mum got them at the same time as i did and she was the same age aswell, i heard thier worse when you get them at an older age
