Very nice.
Bengal_Tiger watch this as well. The principle of this school says "we teach in Pashto and English".

I think Pashtun nationalists should focus on some of the following projects which can be separated from the issue of whether they stay in or out of the federation of Pakistan but are just simply cultural-linguistic issues, obviously I am talking about Pashtuns on both side of the so-called "Durrand line".
1. Translate major international works in Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Political theory, Business etc in to Pashto.
Why?
Because the translators will have to try and adopt a Pashto which functions effectively for academic discourse.
This is very important as Punjabis, some Tajik nationalists and others deride Pashto as a vernacular only useful for village people or countryside folk.
Modern standard Arabic is different to classical Arabic which I regard as the real Arabic. One cannot use classical Arabic style to express oneself when discussing modern topics, so one will have to use MSA (Al-Arabiyah Al-Fusha Al-Jadeeda), so do not think that other languages and cultures have also enacted steps in this issue i.e. the use of their language in modern communication.
2. Once these major works are translated they can act as a template on how to discuss academic or more advanced topics in Pashto (I might be completely wrong this might already be happening) and thus the proliferation of Pashto literature not exclusively in poetry but also in a vast range of topics.
This is a key issue because if Pashto is regarded by educated Afghans of Pashtun origin (and no offence I have met some like this) who regard it as a nice language, language of their ancestors and smile at me in a sweet (but subconsciously condescending) way, that it's what their grandparents speak and people back in the village, but Dari/Urdu is what is needed for modern employment while Pashto is shelved, then it will become more and more redundant and the educated middle class in both countries will be speaking in Dari/Urdu.
This has already happened to an extent.

Remember I come from a part of the world where language issues played a major part in the formation of our modern nation and identity and where even today "Islamists" or militant fundamentalists in the region call our language, Bengali, a "Hindu" language e.g. in the Arakan region of Burma, Rohingyas are discouraged by Arab and other pro-Pakistan fundamentalists from using Bengali but to use Urdu.
However Bangladesh is too strong and Bengali is too strong with such a vast body of literature for these Arab fundamentalists, Pakistanis and others to undo our achievements.* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Shukran ya Masr!!!
Thanks to Egypt for supporting Bangladesh against Pakistani harassment and support for terrorists and war criminals!!
