Re: BATTLING FOR KARACHI
Probably there for money.Originally posted by handsomepashtunOkay, after some research I found out the MQM itself is like 30-40 percent Pashtun and they even have a Pashtun wing.
Not so sure how credible what your saying is now.
The MQM terrorists hired some pashtuns and call it MQM pashtun wing.
It is a matter of shame for those pashtuns joining the MQM terrorists.
It is fact that some pashtuns are working for MQM and the same pashtun killing their own for mahajars.
MQM are the one thats killing Pashtuns in Karachi.
they are just using them.

Re: BATTLING FOR KARACHI
Hello Brothers, I am a Urduspeaker from Karachi and i really really hate MQM personally. They are indeed a terrorist organization now. When they were founded in the 1970's to defend (mahajir) rights in Pakistan, their aim was legitimate. But now they have totally become a gangster/terrorist type organization and totally controlling Karachi. Let me tell you that there are a lot of urduspeakers like me who are sick and tired of MQM and their violent actions in Karachi. May 2007 really opened my eyes personally, whatever we saw on TV that day.

Re: BATTLING FOR KARACHI
MQM is a political orgnization in Karachi, mainly made up of mohajirs (migrants from India) who came in 1947 to Pakistan. When these people came to pakistan, they were racially discriminated against, specially in Punjab, thats why most of these mohajirs moved to Karachi because Karachi was always a cosmopolitian city.Originally posted by JamesWhat is MQM?Originally posted by UrduspeakerHello Brothers, I am a Urduspeaker from Karachi and i really really hate MQM personally. Re: BATTLING FOR KARACHI
well my grandfather was orginally from delhi, but we already had familes on the pakistan side even before 1947. so i really dont call myself (mohajir) but yes i am a urduspeaker.Originally posted by Apriday^Are you a Mohajir?
also I think MQM itself is mostly made up of the people who came to pakistan in 1960's and 70's much after 1947, mainly from places like Bihar, Bengal, Mumbai etc....
