Lulz, it's rather unprogressive to not admit preferences when it comes to sex and marry someone just for monetary and political gain, especially when they're not very attractive. Sure, marrying a supermodel is just for sex but so what? Marriage is out of date anyway, I don't plan on it. However, the most stable way to keep a marriage alive would be to have mistresses, that's the ironic thing. In Ancient Greece, married men with children would have gay relationships through extramarital means, and it was acceptable and fine.

Objectification of women is a thing thrown around by a strange mix of feminist, certain religious fundies and other assorted weirdos. The people however, who make objects of women are religious and conservative people. They lower the women to that of a breeding stock for the state and family, with no dignity, no rights, no potentiality for advancement. Dating supermodels is not making them objects, it's just being really lucky :D

well its a matter of opinion. what you might consider ugly, we might consider to be a supermodel, and what you consider to be a super model, we might consider ugly. it's all a matter of cultural opinion, and what society as a whole considers acceptable. this might lead you into a new realm of psychology where you might consider society as an independant consiousness, with a few exeptions of those who do not want to conform....:D

Of course they are not restricted "to breeding stock" because that would ruin their figures and they would be out of work.

Not really. In reality, supermodels and their associates come from upper class families that enjoy that sort of stuff. Yes, their vain, vapid people but that's not making objects, that's just their form of success. Getting blown by coke addicted hookers in Greece is not suffering. Whether you like it or not is really irrelevant.

Yeah, but I'm not liberal. Being born with a silver spoon has nothing to do with it. Think of it like this. Scandinavia is known for its supermodels, and it has the most females in politics out of any region on Earth. Not that there's a connection, but it's not making objects of anyone. It's just outdated morality trying to survive in the 21st Century.

Well, obviously I'm against any government hindrance on how someone personally wants to dress, however I'm not against the government stopping families from forcing someone to act this way and dress that way. Certainly that's a high percentage of these people who wear the blankets over them. I'm not against the French governments sentiments and goals, just how they're doing it.
