Relax Talal, I am not describing my brethren in pahktukwa, Im describing the baghyrat people that supported the taliban but were too cowardly to stand by them when the whole world came down on them like voulchers.Originally posted by Talal View Post^ i can say the same for Afghanistan but it will be nothing more than a cheap comment like the one u just made..so i wont..you have a mom and sis too, if you drag someone else's into a petty argument so casually then that only shows how much respect you got for that relation
What I said was not a cheap comment but a fact. Do you know what ghyrat means or has the panjabi made you forget what that is.Last edited by khushal; 10-11-2010, 02:49 AM.

Re video posted by Khushal:
I LIKE THAT COMPARISON video !
It was really well done.
Unlike many of you, I really respect Ahmadinejad. I wish Afghans participating in or supporting the American-backed Kabul govt. would take a page out of his book and stand up for Afghanistan in the same way he does.
It is amazing to behold the difference between Musharraf who panders to the reporter, and Ahmadinejad who clearly believes God is behind him, but still treats the reporter with cordiality. But never once bows and scrapes.
The reporter by the way, is the - to me ODIOUS - George Stephanopoulos. He is underconfident, even egotistical, dropping in about how he met with obama and medvedev recently.
Ahmadinejad exudes true confidence and doesn't ever need to personally brag.
The comparison of the company kept by each leader [who was the awful fake-blonde woman standing next to Musharraf?] speaks volumes. Then there's the Iranian leader with a properly attired child and sitting with a family.
He refuses to shake hands. RIGHTFULLY SO!!
Whereas we see Musharraf with a Condoleezza [what a name!] Rice wearing flaming orange. Orange seems to be the color of the day, going back to the Hare Krishna metaphor this morning.
The slimy Mubarak of Egypt, about whom I had just been thinking of as awful, is featured in contrast to Muslims who try to bring good.
I think old hostilities with Persia need to be set aside and future Afghan leaders [Mullah Omar? Members of the Forum here ?--!] need to send a delegation to Teheran to set up an unshakeable strategic alliance. To wait would be not wise. After Ahmadinejad could God Forbid come the colorless drone Mousavi. Then there would be no sincere interest shown in Afghanistan, merely lip service paid to a neighbor.
It's the only way for a fresh Afghanistan to stay independent and powerful, to be in a solid bloc together with Iran and any other suitable neighbor.
Meanwhile Zardari should be phoning over to Teheran for tips in how to stand up to aggressive American and Western media representatives and officials.
PS About George S. His father is a mainstream, liberal Greek Orthodox priest of a prestigious cathedral in NY. His sister, Mother Agapia, has principles. She left all that and joined an anti-Communist Church. She has all the strength that is missing in her brother, for she together with another nun, fended off KGB agents attacking a church property in Jerusalem. Did her brother bother to help her? He was then Clinton's Press Secretary. A weakling....shows in his face.
[This is background so that anyone interested may gain some perspective on this now famous reporter. I don't expect most readers to care, but in case anyone does.]
>>>Remember that Greek Orthodox are ALWAYS HEAVILY HEAVILY hostile to even moderate Muslims. So, though he is not practising his religion, the cultural anti-Turkish baggage is likely present in his attitude toward the Muslim religion and world.Last edited by Catya Sher; 10-12-2010, 09:05 PM.

Actually God does not choose a side, It is us that chooses. We can either follow the path of Allah or the path of Satan. The Ones who stands with truth are unshakable. The pashtuns are stereo typed as simple minded because they stand with truth. Those that cant or wont deceive are stereo typed as simple minded.
