Hahahaha, this is what the Jinnah Army (Punjab's Army) is, probably intensly, conscious of when it conducts military operations in Pashtun areas i.e., the "humumliation of Pashtuns" inflates their newly-grown "Punjabi" sense of pride (Imagine a people who got their chance once in history).

I wonder what Pashun army officers feel when their Punjabi comrades resot to such things.

Anyhow, the point is, Punjabis have this adventitious rise to power over the last century because first the British Empire needed it and then it was due to the Cold War necessity. Right now they are like Serbians (with Chinese serving as Slavic cousins to them) but there are serious doubts they would be able to sustain that status. The global/regional security and political paradigm that existed during the Cold War and the age of Western Imperialism before that no longer exists. They forget that their Sikh brethern that had a good status under the British Raj have already been resized. I am quite sure they will go the same way. They are sailing against the tides of time.

This time, when Punjabis would fall, there is little hope they would rise again militarily or politically.

There is a difference between Pashtuns and Punjabis, which the Punjabi friends often forget i.e., Pashtuns through millinia living in a peculiar environment have developed the ability to put up sustained resistance to pressure even if they are temporarily defeated or controlled. We have witnessed it in the case their resistance to Mongols, Tatars, Mughals, Iranians, British, etc. I mean Pashtuns may rise again.

Dear friend i have spent my whole life in Pakhtunkhwa, i am not dependent on online forum to become a pashtun. This forum is for young boys like you in the west where chances are high to lost pashto and pashtunwali.
