^ Thats what i said khaney, the main perpetrator of this report was dostum, who isnt a pashtun and moreso fought AGAINST the taliban throughout the 80s till later on when he switched sides

^ I don't know much about the talebaan back then, but ones who act in their name now have been known to commit these crimes. But nothing's worse than bacha bazi.

^ Taliban did a lot of good back then, there was no bacha bazi during they're time no drugs..the economy was stable, they were mellowing out from they're hardcore approach and were becoming a bit more liberal in their views..The country was stable, and then 9/11 happened and here we are today

^ Oh yeah, bacha bazi rose again once the talebaan reign fell.

By the way Talal, what are your views on Zardari?

But you also have to take in context Zardari doesnt call the shots, he has virtually no control over especially after the 18th ammendment to the constitution in which he had to give up all his powers. The only thing that keeps him safe from all of the corruption charges is the presidential immunity which will be gone soon, the onyl reason he hasnt been removed is because everyone from the judiciary to the army want this government to complete its term since that would signal true democracy taking roots within Pakistan. But no Zardari might be the president but he is virtually powerless.

The prime minister Gilani is a good man and he is doing a lot of good work for the people, on paper he has more powers than zardari.

Haha democarcy in Pak? Spare me please.

And they want to signal true roots of democracy.. he wasn't even instated in the proper democratic way, and his son's going to inherit the 'throne', what kind of democracy is that.

By the way bro, this isn't exactly directed at you.

^ None taken khaney, your one of my favorite members here sis

And about Zardari, well considering the circumstances, he was been elected democratically. The fault here lies with the Pakistanis, because of Benazir's death an over-whelming majority of people voted for PPPP just because of who she was.

however your wrong in assuming that zardari's son will be leading the party after him. First of all PPPP's popularity is at an all time low right now, the damage that zardari has done to their party they wont be able to come back into power for a long time..PPPP as we know it finished for now. And as for who will be running the party, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto's grandson "Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto" (yes they have same names) is the next candidate for PPP instead of Bilawal, while zardaris have been cashin away in britain the other Bhuttos have developed a strong base not only within the party but have also tapped into the voter base.

So yes there will be democracy inshallah but what really is democracy ? where 51% of the people get to choose the fate of other 49% ?
