Pak. Army Colonel - Rs 13000 Daily Allowance in Disatser hit area

Kamran Shafi of Dawn News in one of his columns has revelaed this shameful news that a pakistan army colonel gets rs 13000 DA in disaster hit areas. On the contrary the amount of coverage and projection given by Pakistani media to army is so exaggerated as if they are the messaihs of the nation.

In a recent meeting the MNA of PPP Dr Firdaus Ashiq Awan said that the amount of budget which is granted to the army is so much that any thing which they do is nothing great but should be considered as their duty as army is paid for it. This bitter fact was neagtively projected by the sold out and biased media of Pakistan.

This is a fact that in Pakistan, the defacto power is army establishment and the rest of the institutions are just their puppets. This is just due to the fact that the majority of army is from Punjab province whose elite class is sucking the blood of the rest of the Pakistan.

What is the normal salary of Pakistan Army's Colonel? Do you know the increase in the salaries in the starting of this year, January? NO .. In the areas of disaster or in a War Zone the soldier gets more allowances and yes manies times it means doubling the salary.. Like if you normally gets 10,000 In Siachin you will be getting 20,000.. I don't know the exact case with the Flood Affected Areas And yes didn't you notice Pak Army Soldiers gave some percentage of their salaries to the Flood Affected people.

LOL, Firdous Ashiq Awan is just hiding their own mistake.. It is such a big disaster and we are not seeing any political person trying to manage things .. and making things straight .. Yes it is Pak Army who understood the need of the hour came out and helped the affected people.. Whether they are getting paid or not Firdous Ashiq Awan also gets paid but she is busy in doiing parties with Mr. Ten Percent

You mean the army that was already situated there who has charged our provincial government for the helicopters? BTW US army has helped more than anyone in the flood hit areas.

er im not sure if your aware of this but this is minimum wage in pakistan and you guys harp on about the foreign aid ? well guess what that makes up for the 8% of the cost of the relief work..Army is putting down 58% of the total costs out of its own pockets.

Its easy showing your love for your pashtun brothers on a keyboard...when you go out into these epidemic infested areas carry those people on your back and bring em to safety THEN question the army...till then eat your donuts and keep up the net love while they are out there helping people day and night

It is a disaster area with the provincial government already owed billions in royalties. First of all, it is wrong for the reason I just mentioned. Second of all, why haven't they charged the other provinces? Third of all, on what basis is the army charging the state...is it a private contractor that is charging them for services rendered?

Ok so NA-1 is filled with banners and posters...oh God what a tragic event, a politician is advertising himself. Someone get Shehbaz a medal for stating the most obvious thing politicians do (unlike army right, who has media praising their every generic move). lolzz man if you are going to defend the army at least do a better job.

Hmmm you mean apart from subverting democracy thrice, hanging the constitution-giver, eating up more than ten times the money spent on education and health to pay for the luxuries of serving and retired officials (have you ever had the privilege of playing a round of Golf at the DHA/Karsas Golf Club?), allying with the US while it bailed out Israel against the Arabs, creating election wings, massacring Palestinians in Jordan, losing all its wars against India, bowing to America without firing a single shot, bombing its own people since the 1970s (Punjab excluded of course), kidnapping people for dollars (missing persons cases), selling Afia Siddiqui, becoming the biggest Kabza-group in Pakistan (Gwadar, other no-go areas), exporting terrorism into Afghanistan and Kashmir, mismanaging Pakistan Steel, KESC, WAPDA and other organizations so badly that they're still operating on 7-figure annual losses and flattening FATA to the ground, we, the people of Pakistan salute the Pak Army for their services !!

Show me the link watandaara. Manana. Yaraa Swat, Buner, FATA areas saw a very ugly side of the military and ISI. There are a lot of people who have turned anti-Army and by extension anti-Pakistan. I was talking to some friends and they were like PKMAP and the likes have made a lot of inroads in Swat due to the current situation...khalk army na altha kha thang dee ao che mahajr shwll ao panjab ao sindh tha laarro nu aghae na dder ghamzapalae ham dee.

For your information there was huge deduction, in thousands of rupees, from the salary of every civil government employ, so looking at this army too had to pay its share.

By the way, almost 90 percent of the total budget is taken away by the army (I include debt servicing into army's account because it is army's non developmental expenditures which make foreign debts so huge).
