    It is still nebulous to me how the author is over-dramatizing the issue? Unless we have lost completely moral force, the author of this article is a pillar of moral conscience and an unfailing source of political and intellectual aspiration. Irrespective of whether we are Pakistanis or Afghans, it's a heinous crime that was committed in the presence of hundreds of people and State functionaries and it would be a folly not to condemn it in the strictest possible manner. How deeply one can sympathize with Pakistanis when one encounters the realities of the lives of the people and not the propagandistic pretensions of their government.
    [COLOR="Purple"][FONT="Century Gothic"]So long as there is the earth and the heavens;
    So long as the world endures;
    So long as there is life in the world;
    So long as a single Afghan breathes;
    There will be this Afghanistan.
    Long live the Afghan nation.
    Long live the Republic.
    Forever there be our national unity

      Guys, it's not Khayal's article; the article is written by someone named Fasi Zaka, it seems. Here's one link to the article: Chowk: Current Affairs: Pakistan

      This article does NOT at all necessarily represent the views of all, or even most, Pukhtuns. One person out there sees it this way, but it doens't mean we all do. I'm from Swat (Pakistan), and I don't agree with the author, so please stop assuming that this entire forum is biased because one of us posted an article that sees Pakistan as the human roach.

        The strange thing is that some brainwashed people expect everyone to think like them. If majority of Pashtuns couldn't turn loyal to the far superior British masters then how is it possible for us to become the faithful servants of the much inferior Punjabis; the erstwhile slaves of the British!

          I think that's the key to the non-sense in this topic and the even greater non-sense it has lead to.
          Khyaal didn't write this, nor is it necessarily his own personal view but it's rather an article written by a Pakistani about Pakistan. Mhmm here we see how important quotations can be.

          It would be much, much more beneficial if our Pakistanis4life and Pakistanis4Ever and Pakistanis4eightyyears here refuted the arguments in the article rather than bashing Afghans.. for some odd reason. That way, we all could learn and broaden our horizon, rather then indulging in such shameful behavior.

            I am happy to see the amount of criticism the author has expressed. It speaks of our media's freedom of speech. The author can name whatever he likes. There is no denyig of the fact that our Police is one of our worst institutions.Their misuse of authority, money making, promoting of uncivilized culture etc are things which make vulnerable our society to such heinous acts. However, there are men of all seasons in this department also who have shown valor in the face of evil. Those i can name with my little knowledge, Abid Ali Shaheed, Malik Saad Shaheed, Sifwat Ghayoor Shaheed, Gul Afzal Afridi who is waiting. Likewise we have people who are on extreme level of sefishness and at immoral heights, but then we have brilliant people who appear on contrary to those degenerated folk. These brilliant are Abdul Satar Edhi, Imran Khan, Riaz Hussain etc.There are many others who are out of media cover but contribute enormously in social uplift through their Zakat and charity, like a businessman and owner of Ibrahimi Restaurants UAE from Darsamand KP and owner of Malik Exchange UAE from Dara Adam Khel who have had contributed in millions towards affectees of earthqake disaster. Now i have heard that in this flood disaster, they have shown the same generosity. To sum up, in every society, there are poeple who can bring you the name of roaches but in the sametime there are people who follow holly spirits in the situations where there might be high demand of sacrifice in term of life and wealth. Btw if ponder on the subject matter or theme of the article, its sole purpose to critisize the demons or people with low morality who contribute negatively towards society.

            Anywayz good attempt on part of the author to market his article for goodness.
