Because i have noticed that lot of tajik nationalists don't want to call themselves afghans and pronouns it as afghoul or something similiar like that in an insulting way towards us pahstuns?
    No
I have never heard Afghans mentioning their ethnicity when together in a community gathering. Tajiks I have never heard in real life making any of those comments that the weirdo nationalists make. I have always seen all sorts of Afghan identifying as Afghan. This anti Afghan gang is something new and supported by Iran. The prominant fascist is Pedram who is a Shia ismaili with direct links to Iran. Some of them are Sunnis who are fooled by such guys . Pedram has his reason which is that he will significant if anything else than Persian fascism. As an ismaili he has no influence.

Ethnicity was added due to Tajik pressure. It was Pashtuns who were against it. What Tajik nationalists are against its putting Afghan on it. They dont identify with the Afghan label. They have a legit claim.
I'm going to be honest, if there are members here that think Pakistan and Iran are in "cahoots" due to some Shi'a nexus/cabal, you probably shouldn't take them seriously. lol

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

Well, you're right about me having a lot to learn about afghan history.

My dad sometimes teaches me and my little brother(i was a little suprised, when i found out he's interested in afghan history), like once when he told us about king/leader/something(forgot which kind of authority he was leading by) Daud and Najibullah n about corruption in Afghanistan.

But dude, i still don't believe you. It's not personal, it's rather more trust, when it comes to this stuff. Because almost all people i have seen trying to claim something that's positive for them, it always rather based on how they want the things to be rather than facts. I have seen this kind of behaviour around almost all ethno-national-supremacists: Like turks, hazaras, indians, whites, us etc. And i will rather trust the counterpart, who's disproving the claims. But it's based who he is or what his intentions are. And here, it's firdousi we're talking about. Although he has been an ass towards us pahstuns(by insults. I still remember his comment aout how he enjoy watching us pahstuns suffer on TV, just because someone here claimed ghorids as pahstuns), he's a changed man now. I don't see his ethno-pride around him, even when some of us insults him. However, you seems to be more like in this category. No offense, i just trust firdousi more than you. Also, i have never heard any other pahstun claim Balkh or Herat as ours.

But you're right about the part of us never mention our ethniity, when we're around each other i think. Haven't met many tajiks though.

He also thinks that Iran and Israel are in cahoots in some sort of weird alliance. You are right.

                Don't believe me I don't care.
Go learn pashto, dari,Urdu( speech, reading and writing) than come talk to me about Pashtun history. If you can't speak those languages and haven't read upon the subject it's on you not o me.
So you trust someone who is actually promoting fables against Pashtuns and is hatefilled and biased. Pashtuns have a wonderful history. Go read upon sher Shah Suri the Pashtun emperor who had built the first highway, postal service, money transfer. The Brits copied him .
He ruled from Bengal all the way to arakan in Myanmar.
Go read history of Mahmoud hotak who ruled Afghanistan and major parts of Iran.
Not to forget Ahmad sha Abdali, the suris, the ghorids.
Ghaznavi was another great emperor but he wasn't Pashtun but his mother was and he was in alliance with Pashtuns.
The kings, amir and emperors in this region have either been Pashtun or Turkic.

Ghorids are not Tajiks, that's is a desperate claim by tajik ethnofascist. Because there is no tajik ruler who ruled India or Afghanistan. Off course Tajiks were allies with Pashtuns and Turkic tribes.

Herat is definitely a Pashtun majority city no matter if those Pashtuns speak Persian even with Iranian accent. Ahmad Shah Abdali was born in Herat. If you go to remote villages near Iranian border Pashtuns are still wearing ancient style of clothing but they speak Farsi.

You have been conditioned by the likes of firdousi and self hating pashtuns to think that Pashtuns are insignificant without history and civilisation. Non of that is true.

I'm not ethnocentric as I see Tajiks and other tribes as my brothers as long as they aren't anti Pashtun and Afghanistan.

But we should just Waite and see after the distribution of ID cards to see the ethnic percentage. The ID cards that the likes of pedram and firdousi now oppose because of the mentioning of ethnicity which they previously wanted.😁

We do have an interesting story,i never said we didn't. I just don't believe we're in the same numbers in the west as w're in the east.

But i'm familliar with ahmed shah baba, Mahmoud hotaki and sher suri(not much with him compared to the other two). And i got to say, Mahmoud Hotaki is my favourite pahstun, right before khusal khan. Great guys. I'm maybe even going to learn more about them. I also have heard that there was a pahstun leader in Azerbayjan as well. Never knew that.

But yeah, let's us agree to disagree.
