Lets be honest, not just in afghanistan, but pashtuns in Pakistan also do this, it is part of pashtun culture. I just feel sorry for the millions of boys raped, their worth of living is taken away from them at such young age, no wonder they become monsters once they grow up

Not one of these again. this is all old news.

This is Northern Areas. They are all farsiwan. The Americans put the pedophile people in power and protects them from being butchered by the Afghan people. There were a few American soldiers that were trying to protect little kids from these kind of pedophiles and those soldiers got in trouble with their superiors.
Good people get in trouble for doing the right thing and pedophiles get protection. The american occupation is completely immoral.

It happens everywhere you self hating moron. Why not speak up for the victims everywhere instead of using these victims suffering so you could feel better about yourself of going to donkey humping temples.

I've heard about it but I've never seen it for myself.

Despite of all of the propaganda (as in Kite runner) , the documentary shows that Taliban will kill you if you are doing this.
It's very common in mazar-e-sharif and Kunduz. Once upon a time this didn't exist to this extend in Kabul. In the other documentaries from Kabul you can see where young boys are 'recruited' in public by pedos whitouth any shame. I don't think it crept from Central Asia to Afghanistan. It was always there.

I've noticed an uptick of anti-Afghan sentiments on Pakistani social media. I even experienced a strange incident on twitter where there was a fight between
Hazaras and Afghan Pashtuns and one nationalistic Pakistani pashtun sided with the Hazaras against his fellow Pashtuns.

lol, true my uncle used to drink about 20 cups of green tea through out the day. younger generation is not that fond of green tea as they have energy drink, coffee etc but older generation are proper green tea addicts. I guess you can call Afghan "chai khor". They swear green tea quenches your thirst better than water.

coffee? I saw coffee in Kabul the last time I was there but it was not popular. Teenagers drank a lot of soda and energy drinks which will create many diabetics.

I don't know why we spread trash like this. Afghans all know about this disgusting practice, it's not like there's a problem with awareness among Afghans.

These Western documentaries are only made so Westerners can look down upon us as barbarians, despite the fact this practice is neither common nor accepted. RT is even worse than other Western sources, as this documentary tries to pin bacha bazi on our Islamic culture, as if women being covered and staying at home just turns guys into boy lovers. Over and over it tries to emphasize the idea that Satr causes men to turn to boys. This documentary, and others like it, are more interested in dehumanizing us than anything else.

It's not common anywhere. The number of people who partake in these practices is very low. It's basically limited to some warlords.

And it did come from Central Asia originally.

I wasn't much of a tea drinker myself, but when I visited my family back home I ended up getting hooked. Still don't drink it as much as Afghans in Afghanistan do (no time), but I really do think it sometimes quenches thirst better than water.
