are we going to talk about this or not??

she has been arrested by the pakistani government for making a fake pakistani id card. she is facing a 5000 dollar fine as well as 14 years of jail time. they say she did this so she could choose to live in afghanistan and pakistan when things get rough on one side of the border.

here is a picture for those who may not remember her by her name.

$5,000 and 14 years... wow, that is harsh. Especially since Pakistanis should be grateful anyone even wants to enter that country. Most Pakistanis are trying to find a way out.

    Pretty unfortunate situation right now.

She will be deported back without paying fine or jail.

This is the unfair thing when you divide ethnicities by current international boundaries. a pashtun from Afghanistan should easily be able to live on the Pashtun side of Pakistan, especially when it was all same land 60-70 years ago.

Today we have a situation where a Lahorie Punjabi can easily live in Pashtun areas of Pakistan, yet a Pashtun person from Kandahar is not allowed to live there. what a pathetic situation

Same in Afghanistan. All colonial created states and regimes are the same.

But this has more to do with the UNHCR reducing refugee payments to the Pakistani authorities.
