  • Canadian Hazara cabinet minister sacked and will be stripped off citizenship

Maryam Monsef was a trophy politician celebrated around the world for her achievement. She was identified as an ethnic Hazara from Afghanistan who lived through Taliban oppression and managed to reach Canada and become extraordinary successful. Almost a fairy tale like story turns out to be a lie.

She never lived in Afghanistan because she was born in Iran and all her stories about Afghanistan were fabricated.

She is now sacked from her post and she will also loose her citizenship because she lied about her origin.

Never talk with Afghans about politics. All their political knowledge is limited to conspiracy theories, political demonization and contradictions. No logic, no reason.

The thing is she claims to be from Herat but her features are not Herati at all. Vast majority of Hazaras moved into our city in the last decade specially when Anwari became Herat´s governor. i know only one famous Herati Hazara: Ahmad Behzad.

Hazaras have settled in Herat for political reasons. They are a trouble. They should leave the city and move back to Hazarajat or wherever they came from. Same thing goes for those Pashtun nationalist troublemakers living around the city (alhamdulillah most of Herati Pashtuns are proud and peaceful Heratis).

There were people who were proud of what she achieved at a young age and since she was an afghan and then there are people who are cheering now that she is going through a rough time. It's very interesting to see what our fellow afghans root for. The seemingly success or failures of an individual. It sure tells a lot about what kind of a human being you are deep down in your heart.

Anyways.. She is being criticized because her birth certificate says she was born in Iran. So what?? Is the idea of being born in Iran or Pakistan and then migerating back and forth from Afghanistan so uncommon amongst our people??

And since when did third world countries start distributing birth certificates?? They do it in Afghanistan now but they didn't do it 30 or so years ago. I don't have a birth certificate and neither do any of my parents or siblings. I do know that if you want an afghan birth certificate, all you have to do is bribe someone 2000 afghanies.

You don't have a problem with those who looted looted people off of their socks while they were running away from the war with nothing but the cloths they had on and their loved ones but are oh so happy because someone is being stripped off of their position and citizenship over not having an afghan birth certificate.

There are thousands of people who have endured or fabricated stories of Taliban's barbarism. I don't see them being ministers. I am more than certain that they reason she was appointed her position had nothing to do with Taliban but her ability to hold that position. Stop acting like idiots.
