I agree with you, that perhaps he didn't acknowledge the sacrifice his people were giving to him, but at the same I admire him. He had enough ghairait to come back to his own country to come up with money, as opposed to becoming a slave of some Arab.

The reason I wanted to highlight his video was because, many people in Pakistan and Afghanistan are neglected by politicians. Your politicians are just as corrupt as Pakistani politicians. Actually, I think Pakistani politicians are more corrupt, but your government has just officialy started and they will follow the same path. They steal so much wealth from the country that even when poor villagers try to make something of themselves, the opportunities are simply not available.

The common man in Pakistan and Afghanistan wants security, food, and work, but with dynastic politicians these things are not available, and the common man is treated as a slave born to serve the elite.

Tbh my friend, I want both Afghans and Pakistanis to live in their own land and be able to take care of themselves with honesty and dignity. Why should our people think that the only way to earn a halal living is go and become a slave in a foreign country?

The reason is that our politicians are thieves and should be hanged. I'm personally the type of person that If I am eating bread and see someone that is hungry I will split it in half. It's too bad that politicians don't have that mentality, and want to suck the blood of the poor to elevate themselves to a higher position. There is no insaniyat in Pakistani elite politicos, and I feel the same way for Afghanistan.

        This is just my opinion.

Maybe I am wrong, but this is how I feel.

I was just about to say that this could be Afghanistan, except people in Afghanistan act more masculine. The body language of these guys seems more feminine.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

The situation right now is similar. In the 60s and 70s, Afghanistan in terms of achievement and success was ahead of Porkistan. Our culture and history is light years ahead of Porkistanis. Porkistan isn't even comparable to Afghanistan in terms of history and culture.

                  You're not from Afghanistan clearly.

Kabul was comparatively more "progressive" in the Western sense, because privileged class women from Nasher, Mohmadzai, Miskinyar etc. were allowed to move freely, wear western style clothes and adopt western behaviors. They had electricity there but mainly for government establishments , the national radio, university and the privileged families.

but Afghanistan OVERALL was still pretty archaic. My dad grew up in Ghazni, when he was a child they only had ONE radio in his village. And it belonged to the Mashar, people plowed the small crops they had with animals, not modern equipment. Most people were a.) Either Kuchi originally from Kandahar or Zabul b.) keliwal and farmers whose ancestors were pushed from other parts of Afghanistan because of their rebellions against the Mohmadzai rulers.

Pretty much everyone was dirt poor, except the Mashars and land owners.

What do you even mean by "light years ahead"? Like what's light years ahead of having barely any electricity and using plow animals? Most people couldn't even read. Lot of people died when droughts happened too.

I'm not sure about Paktia, but being that It's right below Ghazni, and they had faced a similar retribution for their rebellions against the Upper Class Rulers. I can only imagine they had it the same as Ghaznichi.

My dad's first wife was from Zadran, she died when she was 17 from Pneumonia, that says a lot about the conditions that were in Afghanistan in the 1960's-70's.

Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."
