Secondly he is Pakistani by nationality which doesnt mean is any more or less Pashtun than you guys.

If being a citizen of a country makes you non Pashtun than more than half of Afghans on this forum are non Pashtun as they are all European or American citizens and have no right to preach to others.

This sort of mentality has led to the downfall of this forum and is far away from reality on the ground.
The fact is that majoirty of Pashtuns live in Pakistan and are now citizens of that country so they are obliged to respect it. Contrary to popular belief among Pashtuns of Afghanistan, Pashtuns in Pakistan are quite loyal to Pakistan except maybe FATA and pashtun areas of Baluchistan. There is no doubt Pakistani elites have betrayed Pashtuns and everyone else in Pakistan but Pashtuns of Pakistan want to fight for their rights within Pakistan not breakaway from it. Pashtuns of Pakistan, especially the urbanites have totally bought into the idea of Nazaria e Pakistan and see themselves as part of the struggle of muslims against the bogeyman India.

What many Afghans who have never lived in Pakistan fail to realise is that the Pakistani Pashtuns see no contradiction between being Pakistani and being Pashtun.

We have many ignorant Pashtuns on both sides who call each other names and think less of each other depending on which side of the border we live, which is pure stupidity. Such behaviour only leads to further divisions. There are many pashtuns in Pakistan who can't read and write in Pashto because the Pakistani education system is in Urdu and English so it is hard to read and write in Pashto there. Now instead of taunting and insulting and trying to score points, empathise with them, give them a helping hand rather than putting them down. Same way any Pashtuns in Pakistan in Pakistan call pashtuns in Afghanistan farsiwan, majar etc. They watch a few channels majority of which are in Farsi and assume all pashtuns have become farsiwn, the fact is farsi is the lingua franca of Afghanistan and even pashtun leaders spoke it. Instead of focusing on a few sellouts and trying to belittle one another, why not p4ovide constructive criticism. Aren't we all Pashtuns at the end of the day? Such childish behavoiur leads to more misundrestandings, we are our own worst enemies.
