U.S. Dispatches Helicopters for Flood Relief Assistance

Six U.S. Army aircraft consisting of four tandem-rotor CH-47 Chinook helicopters and two UH-60 Blackhawk utility helicopters arrived in Pakistan today, as part of the United States Government's continued assistance to Pakistan during humanitarian relief operations. The helicopters were dispatched to Pakistan from Afghanistan in response to the Government of Pakistan's request for flood relief assistance. The helicopters and their crews will operate in partnership with the Pakistan government and military throughout the flood-impacted areas to deliver much-needed relief supplies and provide transport to people who need emergency assistance in flood-stricken areas. The United States responded immediately to Pakistan's call for assistance following the tragic and devastating floods, consistent with our humanitarian values and our deep commitment to the people of Pakistan.
Additional assistance will be provided based on the Government of Pakistan's assessments of humanitarian needs.

Pakistan army is helping flood victims, I know because my family told me. So don't lie. What has ANP done? What is great Afghanistan Democracy doing for Pakthunkhwa? Of course America gonna take advantage of this situation it has the money and the equipment. Pakistan is too poor to do anything bit it is doing what it can.

Just remember this is worst flood since 1929, even rich developed countries won't be able to cope. Remember new Orleans in America ...the devastation and what did America do? Btw the floods are also on balochistan, and Kashmir and Punjab but it's worst in Pakthunkhwa.
