Unfortunately our proud Yemeni patriot, RevolutionThroughReason was banned (for life) in this forum and I found out later that *shock horror*, Brown Skinned Sewage was actually the same guy....who would have believed it.
What a shame, a proud Yemeni nationalist banned for life on this forum.
However we now finally have a Yemeni on this forum and that's you...so please feel free to educate us all about Yemen.
We're all ears...and all dying to learn more...from you, the only Yemeni on this forum.* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

All this proves is that Real Arabs probably came from around Iraq and Northern Arabia since this where Arabic was spoken and being a central semitic language unlike Yemen which spoke South Arabian languages which were completely unrelated to Arabic. So this means that RTR's family are not even Arabs but probably Sabeans who became Arabized and adopted Arabic language and culture. But again, if RTR says they are arabs than we have to go by his word and accept it i guess hehe.
Btw, facts don't lie guys!

I would be interested in your thoughts about the "Arabness" (or lack of it) of Yemenis, since apart from Habshi the only Yemeni in the forum, we have no one here who knows much about Yemen though you seem to know more than most.* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Shukran al Bengali for asking me this question. First of all I'm pure pashtun, only my father is Yemni. Mother is Koshi gypsy afghan pashtun. My mother told me they are rulers of Afghanistan but when I got back I saw them living like gypsy's in tents.
Yemen is not like other countries in Gulf, we are quite poor since no oil in our land. Despite generous aid from our Gulf arab brothers our country infrastructure is still like central Africa. Gulf arabs make fun of us for being poor but they forget without oil they are not different either.

If my Ancestors came from Yemen, am I Yemeni?
Do I have Yemeni blood in me? I was born and my family is from Bangladesh. We are also Syed. We believe they came to Bangladesh about 800-1000 yrs ago. I want to know if I have Yemeni blood. We have lived in Bangladesh ever since they arrived. Thanks in advance.

If you feel you are Yemeni, then that is what you are. You do not need anyone's approval.
But since you asked, I'll give you an answer.
For 800-1000 years, did the lineage of your family married strictly within the Yemeni community? If the answer is yes, then there is a good likelihood that you can be considered Yemeni. But check with the Yemeni community first, they may have a different opinion about it. It is more likely that they will think of you as a 'miskin (LOL)
Also, as economist Kaushik Basu says: "For a nation to progress it is important for people to spend time on science, mathematics and literature instead of spending time showing that 5,000 years ago their ancestors did science, mathematics and literature."

Well you see Yemen and Afghanistan are both LDC aka Least Developed Country according to UN. There are some other countries in list as well like Somalia and Ethiopia.
Gulf arabs should have been in same situation if not for oil.

In fact the Ethiopians used to rule Yemen, Yemenis were the slaves of these Africans. Abyssinia or "Habash" in Arabic is another word for Ethiopia.
Is this why your nickname is Habshi (Abyssinian) my Yemeni friend?

When I visited my motherland Afghanistan, my relatives started calling me Habshi. So that's the story behind my username being Habshi.

The AByssinians used to rule Bangladesh at one time and made them slaves, especially women who they mated with. This might explain who Banglay Torkhar's real Paternal Ancestry is and why he tries so desperately to claiim he has Pashtun origins, when he's Abyssinian. Once again suffering from inferiority complex and acting out in projection

Saifuddin Firuz Shah (reigned: 1487–1489) was the second ruler of the Habshi dynasty of Bengal. His original name is Malik Indil, who is also a descendant of Abyssinian or Habesha people

What do you make of the news that the man who rules most of Yemen, Saleh is inviting the Russian army to send soldiers in to Yemen?
I ask you because other than you we have no real Yemenis (maybe one fake poser Yemeni but no genuine ones) other than you to answer our questions.* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
