There is no future for us here in the UK.
I believe that its time we should go back to our ancestral countries.

I believe British Muslims should do the following:

- Respect the country they are living in.

- Respect and appreciate that the English are a very tolerant race (far more than other Europeans including the overrated Dutch) and that it should not be taken for granted.

- Contribute positively to this country.

However we should also have a back-up plan and understand that - as you said - we can't say for certain another Bosnia-style operation won't happen here, so have another place that if we need to we can back our bags up and go to.

That means setting up a business there and organizing things.

I for example cannot back up and go to Bangladesh. It would require a few years of trying to set up a business or some other source of income to sustain me.

Of course the Sultanate of Oman always welcomes us so we may go there if things get worse in Pakistan.

I agree with you, however:


Most British Muslims are from the UK, they were born, raised and educated here and they work here. So they identify as British. Their country is the UK.

Me - I'm different because I was born here but I lived in Pakistan for most of my life and I went to school there. I have only been in the UK for about 5 years.

So for me, Pakistan is home and I would rather be there.

Excellent film. Everyone in the UK should watch it so that we can learn that the real terrorists in our multicultural society are the right wing neo-Nazi racists who, it seems, are reappearing as UKIP (essentially they follow the same ideology as EDL/BNP/NF but they have not turned violent... yet.) These racists appear to be supported by the corrupt and bigoted police forces which do little more than profile and harass BME youth.

Canterbury man, 28, charged with attempting to torch mosque in Folkestone

A 28-year-old man accused of shoving lit tissue paper through the letterbox of a mosque has been charged with attempted arson with intent to endanger life.

Philip Donovan, of Ingoldsby Road, Canterbury, is also accused of setting fire to a car parked near to the mosque in Foord Road South, Folkestone.

Canterbury magistrates were told Donovan, who has no previous convictions, allegedly carried out the attacks at around 4am on Thursday.

Neil Sweeney, prosecuting, said a woman in Foord Road South discovered the back of her Volkswagen Golf alight.

A partially burned piece of tissue was also found posted through the letter box of a mosque nearby.

Imam Abdul Awal had been inside the building at the time of the incident, say prosecutors.

Donovan is charged with attempted arson with intent to endanger life, which carries a possible life sentence.

He also faces an alternative charge of attempted arson for the alleged mosque attack, and a charge of arson for the alleged car attack.

Donovan was bailed to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on March 23.

Muslim woman injured after 18 shots fired at family home in North Carolina

A Muslim woman was injured in North Carolina after several shots were fired at her family’s home on Tuesday morning, in an incident her husband thinks could be motivated by their religion.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are investigating the shooting, which occurred around 1am.

The homeowner, Abdul, asked to only be identified by his first name. His wife was wounded by a bullet while lying in bed. She was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.

“We don’t know what this is related to, if it was a random shooting or targeting,” Abdul told reporters outside his home. “We hope it’s not the second case.”

Police said it is too early to determine a motive or whether the family was targeted.

His two children and mother also live in the east Mecklenburg County home. Police are looking for the people responsible for the shooting.

The victims’ families believe that the gunman targeted the students because of their religion, though police have focused the investigation on a parking dispute.

- This fear is based on ignorance of Islam, Michael Skråmo said, only to prove all the critics right a few years later.
