Islamophobia seems quite acceptable nowadays. Even people who wouldn't say anything otherwise racist now openly say things that are insulting to Muslims.

Like they say:

"Islam is an idea, you can't be racist to an idea"

But the stuff they say is clearly racist because it is aimed at all "Muslim-looking" (brown) people, if there was a White Muslim they wouldn't say anything.

So the problem is that all Muslims are brown and White people can never be Muslims.
This is the ignorance that maked White people think all Muslims are brown.

We need to get the whitest of the White Muslims and exhibit them publically for all to see that there can indeed be White Western Muslims who are not terrorists.

1. I believe people are free to reject Islam, or even to criticize aspects of it which they don't agree with.

Muslims have to deal with that criticism in an intellectual manner.


2. However where people cross is the line is the following:

- Open vilification e.g. large banners on buses, of the Islamic faith.

- Job discrimination.

- Physical attacks on Muslims or those perceived to be Muslim.


Islamophobia is a form of racism because non-Muslims such as Sikhs, Hindus, other brown people who have no connection to Islam can be attacked and have been attacked.

Islamophobia is also a form of racism because an atheist or agnostic from a Muslim ethnic group whose name is "Salman Ali" may be discriminated or attacked for being a "Muslim" when in fact he does not believe in Islam.

The question is how can Islamophobia be deal with?

That is another topic but suffice to say that Islamophobia is deliberately propagated by the mainstream media and the powers they serve e.g. today in the British hate-rag the Daily Mail there was an article about a "Muslim" Lesbian who carried out a crime. The word "Muslim" was deliberately inserted to connect all Muslims to this crime and to increase the already existing massive hatred for Muslims.



What does this woman supposedly being "Muslim" have to do with the crime?

Especially given homosexuality contradicts Islam and the Quran.

Islamophobia 'needs swift action', says Dr Chris Allen




Dr Chris Allen delivered his lecture at Cardiff University on Tuesday evening


Swift action is needed to tackle hatred of Muslims, an expert on Islamophobia has told a Cardiff audience.

Dr Chris Allen said the need to act with "speed, clarity, commitment and impartiality" was long overdue.

He added that publicity surrounding events like the three Cardiff men fighting in Syria and Iraq can lead to attacks on Muslims.

Dr Allen was speaking at the annual human rights lecture by the Equality and Human Rights Commission Wales.

The University of Birmingham lecturer told the audience at Cardiff University that Islamophobia is "unwanted in today's Europe" and "the sooner we collectively tackle it, the better".

More than 100 people attended the lecture, which also focused on examples from across the UK where there has been hostility to Muslim people and hate crime.

*Europe is a generally intolerant continent in historical terms.

For centuries Jewish people were massacred, vilified and expelled from their homes.

This anti-Semitism culminated in the holocaust.

As a Bengali I know how racial prejudice, derision and negative stereotypes can culminate in to genocide for example in 1971 with Pakistanis for decades deriding "dark" Bengalis, disregarding the fact they were Muslim and then carrying out their own Nazi-style holocaust in 1971.

Europe also exterminated Muslims from Spain, where the vast majority of Muslims were actual native white European Spanish Muslims just like todays Bosnians or Albanians. Europeans also expelled Muslims from other regions and recently there was the Bosnia genocide.

Muslims need to be vigilant against Islamophobia and work especially with the Jewish community in dealing with this form of hatred.

The lesbian story is the same as the "Muslim sex grooming gangs", obviously none of these two crimes have anything to do with Islam but the media will always find a way to blame Islam and Muslims for everything.

Incidentally, I do happen to know a Pakistan-origin lesbian here where I live in south London. She does not self-identify as a Muslim (because she would rather pursue women in the pub just like the White boys do) but still this girl was the target of some abuse at the hands of her co-workers.

Every day, more and more English people are becoming racist. Just go on Facebook and visit the profile of any English White person and check their likes. They will have at least one page that is xenophobic and racist, particularly towards Muslims. There is even a Knights Templar UK page that many people have liked and also another one called Save Your Country UK.

The Knights Templar page is confused. They claim to be Christian yet they proudly call themselves "infidels" with tattoos in Arabic reading "kuffar".

Only the light (Noor) of Allah can shine upon these dark-hearted people.

When my grandparents came to this country in the 1970s, my parent's generation were used to this kind of discrimination in the council estates of south London. Everyday they got hate mail saying "Blacks get out" or "Pakis go home" but I never experienced anything like this because people in my neighbourhood in this day and age know not to **** with me because I have a strap. 1. The "Muslim" rape gangs were mainly Pakistanis, actually rural Punjabis, from Mirpuri.

This sort of organized sexual exploitation and rape of gangs is symptomatic of many of the problems in Mirpuri and rural Punjabi culture in general.

Here in the UK there is a big division and a degree of social apartheid between Pakistani immigrants from Lahore (capital of Punjab and urban centre) and Punjabis from Mirpur. Ironically the Lahoris call it a "Punjabi v Mirpuri" divide when in fact many in the rural Punjab including the southern Saraiki area have the same sort of culture as the Mirpuris i.e. this is Punjabi culture.


As a Muslim and an Asian I was disgusted by what these Mirpuris/Punjabis were doing up north and it needs to be tackled.

There are obviously some good Punjabis/Mirpuris, but whole towns in northern England have been terrorized with sexual grooming and organized rape on a massive scale.

I don't believe in excessive political correctness and I have been criticized in this forum for being overly critical of Muslims or "Muslim" regimes.

Even the rape-gangs thing, though largely a Punjabi/Mirpuri thing, even with that there was some sort of very loose tenuous connection with Islam as the Punjabi/Mirpuri misinterpretation of Islam makes Punjabis/Mirpuris view white people as inferior as "goreh Kafir" (white Kafir).

This was a perversion of Islam obviously as extra-marital sex is totally against Islam. None of these rapists cared about Islam and many also drank alcohol.

However the "Muslim Lesbian" thing has absolutely no connection with Islam.



2. Muslim regimes and communities also need to focus on their own problems (once on MSN, I remember Pakhtunzai trying to calm me down because I was insulting Bangladeshis and criticizing them).

This however is something separate from the issue of Islamophobia which is a serious problem which needs to be deal with, as it is increasing day by day as per the agenda of the powers that be in the west.

Modern Britain in the cities is in general a tolerant place.

I think most white English people in the cities believe racial discrimination in the form of violence, verbal abuse is wrong and are totally against it.

Most have a natural and perhaps justifiable alarm at how rapidly the demography of their country is changing. Let's be honest everyone prefers their homeland to retain its primary racial composition, identity and culture.

I would want Bangladesh to be a Muslim Bengali-speaking country and not a country speaking Japanese with foreigners everywhere.

I think Britain should be accepted as a white European Christian country one which is tolerant and gives rights to minorities, and far more tolerant than many Muslim countries.

Ethnic minorities in Britain also need to look at themselves and sort out the problems in their own community be they Bengali, Pakistani, Turk, Somali etc.

However Islamophobia is a real and dangerous threat as Muslims in Bosnia have seen.

Also the vast majority of people being killed today in the conflicts which causes Islamophobes and racists to hate Muslims are actually Muslims themselves be it in Syria, Iraq etc.

I know 90% of Pakistani in the UK are either Mirpuri or general Punjabi but my family does not fit into this, we are the only family from Karachi here.
There are some Pakhtuns here and there but they're mostly recent arrivals.

You must know that conditions up north are very different from those in London. I have been to Bradford once and I was shocked at how they live. Bradford is just like a little village in Mirpur, cut off from the rest of the UK. I am not blaming all Mirpuris but they do like to keep to themselves.

Now compare that to Tower Hamlets or Newham or Tooting in the south.
Pakistanis are the majority in Newham and Bengalis in Tower Hamlets but neither Newham nor Tower Hamlets look like a typical Paki/Bangla village.
You will see all kinds of people in Newham or in Tooting or even in Ilford. But in Bradord you will generally see Pakistanis and Whites, and few others and they generally don't mix. In London, people of all backgrounds mix.

I have lived in south London and also in East London, the way we live in London very different from the north/Midlands. We in London are fairly more integrated and more accepted than the Bradford Mirpuris who would rather choose to visit the local Hakim sahib instead of the GP surgery.

I know some Mirpuris personally, they are from London and are quite successful. I also know some Mirpuris from Bradford and they aren't.

1. If the problems up north are partly caused (not that crime of any sort justify these horrific crimes) by social deprivation then more effort and resources needs to be pooled up on to that.


2. However these crimes of sexual grooming were not a struggle for survival, or trying to "pay the bills", they were crimes of greed, of sexual lust, fuelled heavily by Pakistani/Punjabi racism towards white people, when Punjabis say "goreh" (white) it is in a heavily contemptuous tone.

Many white people in England are far more tolerant and open-minded than many "Muslims".

Racism is not exclusive to whites alone but is existent amongst Bengalis, Pakistanis, Arabs, Blacks etc.


3. Though the crimes were not a result of direct social deprivation, the backwards ghetto culture of northern areas creating a "them-and-us" (whites v Pakistanis) is of course partly caused by economic reasons.

In a big city like London you have to work with all sorts of people of all colours, and even if you are white guy and an undercover racist, you have to hide it in order not to face problems at work or be stigmatized, or worst case scenario be put in prison (a white man was put in prison last year for a "racist" song, with a six year sentence. As an Asian guy I don't think he should be imprisoned for that but some other form of punishment, I mean it was only a song and not a directly racist one).

Whereas in a place like Huddersfield of Bradford the atmosphere is not so cosmopolitan.


4. I don't really want to divert the topic and focus on Punjabi criminality and its causes but more on Islamophobia.

I believe Islamophobia should not be used to suppress those who sincerely have questions of Islam, who sincerely (mistakingly) think that Islam is the cause of a lot of problems.

Raising awareness of Islamophobia should not be about silencing debate on Islam but on physical attacks on Muslims, job discrimination, harassment etc.

Many genuine white people brainwashed by the media are horrified by the mass rape of white girls in the north of England. Being horrified is totally right and that is not brainwashing, the brainwashing is when due to the media they connect this with "Muslims" and "Islam", when Pashtuns, Afghans, Bengalis all of whom live in England don't do such things.

We need more education, we also need for certain Muslims to abandon their own forms of racism and prejudice to the white societies in which they generally live in in peace and comfort unlike the many backwards Muslim countries they come from.

Michael Nikolai Skråmo aka Abo Ibrahim Al Swedi probably didn’t need a job. He was trained as a chef before he converted to Islam.



The 29-year-old Swede, who today calls himself “Abdul Samad al Swedi”, grew up in Gothenburg. He converted to Islam during a field trip to Egypt about ten years ago and has since been engaged in a series of tax-funded Muslim organizations.

In 2009 he was invited to SVT, where he told Swedish viewers how Muslim phobia (Islamophobia) and hatred was spread around Europe.

Previously, the Swede have been heavily involved to counter what he described as a misleading picture of Muslims as violent fanatics. In an episode of SVT debate, which can be seen on Youtube, he attacked the malicious picture of Muslims spread in Europe.

“This fear is based on ignorance of Islam,” Michael Skråmo said.

Obviously. If only people truly knew what Islam was.

As a lecturer Abdul Samad has mainly been active in the radical Bellevue Mosque in Gothenburg. There he held a series of sermons on the association Multicultural Youth Center (MKUC), notorious for four youth leaders of the Association, including president of the association , once armed with knives attempted to attack Lars Vilks in an art event at Red Rock in Gothenburg. It is worth noting that sermons should have been co-arranged with the wide Muslim educational association Ibn Rushd. Abdul Samad has also been linked to the Swedish Federation of Muslims , also a compound of radical preachers, located at the Bellevue Mosque.

And then he took the inevitable next step.



Michael Skråmo, 29, took the whole family – his little four children and wife – to the IS-controlled area inside Syria. Now Skråmo filmed a propaganda video outside the Syrian city Kobane where he preaches jihad and calls Swedish jihadists to leave Sweden and join the “holy war”.

“My brothers, ‘hijra’ (migration) and ‘jihad’ are so simple. It only costs a few thousand ‘lapp’ [Swedish kronor],” he says in Swedish. “Do you not wish in in your heart to fight and show God what you have to offer him? The door to jihad is standing there waiting for you. It’s the fastest way to Jannah [Paradise].”

According to Sweden’s Expressen newspaper, he converted to Islam in 2005, after which he travelled widely in the Islamic world, learning Arabic and studying the religion.

At the end of the video, Skråmo becomes more emotional.

“I want you to be here with me. I want us to hang out in Jannah. My wonderful brothers, take this decision, trust in Allah, sacrificing your money and your life for Allah, and you will receive the highest from Allah “.

And if the whole ISIS thing doesn’t work out, he can always go back to Sweden and lecture the natives on how they’re Islamophobes for associating Islam with terrorism.
