You want to help "YOUR PASHTUN PEOPLE?" Start by not insulting our religion, our God, our Quran. Things you have no knowledge of.

    Start by this.

Are you sure that architect was given life by God? How about the 'architects' Ben Gurion, Halaku Khan, Abdul Dostam, Musharraf, Osama bin Laden, Bush, the woman that led the prayer congregation in America, gulalai and myself?

If a man does something productive for mankind and you give credit for that to your personal god, then your personal god should also be responsible for all the mass-murderers and spreaders of ignorance and filth. I'll quote a small part of one of my other posts:

Man can change nature. Artificial selection. Dog breeding. Great Dane vs Chihuahua. We engineered both of them from this. Now are you gonna take away the credit of man's own hard work and ingenuity by saying that this was already in nature so god should be accredited with it? Did your personal God guide the breeders or did they act independent of any divine inspiration? Does the credit for this post go to God, too?

I give you a boulder, you make a naked male sculpture (don't click on this particular link if the human body offends your sensitivities) with a small penis out of it and I say that the sculpture already existed inside the rock and no credit should go to you but it should go to God because He created the rock in the first place. Also, God gave you the talent so your personal God should be praised. It's either your God doing everything or us - not both. Come to think of it, rocks came into being as the earth cooled but of course, you'll accredit your own personal deity with that as well.

That's a good excuse for poverty and a lack of intelligence.

No, you don't because it's ridiculous and doesn't make any sense to you because you need to be extremely simple-minded to believe that a flying teapot is flying in the Asteroid Belt and controlling all the aspects of our lives and talking to people secretly as in caves, on mountains and behind burning bushes.

People who don't defend themselves suffer. People who take up science, logic and the truth become knowledgeable and cannot be ruled by the ignorant and the misled. Read my signature. Thrice.

      Kind Regards.

PS: If you holy people think that Aristotle, Plato and Descartes, despite being extraordinarily intelligent, believed in deities, you should look at the smart people of our current world. They are of the (obviously mistaken) belief that religion is man-made.

@ MOMIN, isn't your holy prophet the guy who said that Afghans (Pashtuns) are suffering and will continue to suffer because they have rejected his message?

gulalai wants her 7,000 year old nation to break the chains of slavery and the leave the dark confines of this foreign ideology that has dragged them down along with their neighbors. You have no idea how she feels for her people, how dare you judge her like that? Who gave you the right to try to mock her? Do you know how she feels? Do your holy powers help you read people's minds? She is more a Pashtaana than these Salafis and Sufis will ever be. For all you know, she does for her people and she will do for her people more than you could ever imagine.

If you find her common sense offensive, you best start praying 24/7 for your personal god to create someone who'd invent a time machine and then get on it, move back to 2500BC and live happily ever after amidst people who don't have the capacity to think.

I have great suspious that Pakistan did this by purpose by releasing and opening the huge water banks to purposely flood Pakhtunkhwa. My Reasons are as follows:-

        1) to gain the publics support at the so called couragous heoric brave Pakistan Army who have saved people from danger.
        2) to divert the War on Terror and recent evidence that ISI relationship with the Taliban.
        3) To have an excuse for the UN to donate more Millions of Dollars/Pounds of Aid to the Pakistan army/Government who will really use it for their own selves.
        4) To divert Pressure to attack its Assets and send most of its Army units to the Flooded areas and allow Militants to move to another safe haven while Media is focused on the floods and the Margilla Plane Crash.

I know it may sound crazy but nothing is impossible.

        Kind Regards

They totally flattened Makeen Market and my mothers village of Karamay in less an hours by a blitz of bombings.

Taliban were in the Mountains and all those who died were civilians.

Pakistan could never care less about death of civilians.

Just like how they bombed that weapons factory that killed 20 civilians to hide the weapons away from UN and America in Rawalpindi.

LZ, your mockery only appeals to your own kind. Remember, that you are no different in your approach than those whom you claim to be blind.

If you were to take away your satire you are like the foam of the sea--NOTHING!
Islam will prevail, a promise made by the Creator of this universe:

[61:8] They desire to extinguish the light of Allah with the breath of their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, even if the disbelievers hate it.

[61:9] He it is Who has sent His Messenger with the guidance and the Religion of truth, that He may cause it to prevail over all religions, even if those who associate partners with God hate it.

People please don't turn this into a debate on religion, we have a section for that.

@Maseed that is quite the theory. Although I don't think they could pull this one off. This was incompetence for the most part. Unless you have some other sources, we would like to see.

1500 dead, 2.5million left destitute and pakistan president is visiting UK.

Anyone need anymore proof that he doesn't care about his own citizens lives?

Even MP's in UK do not want to meet him as they feel he should be dealing with the catastrophe at home.

And you will never stop your nasty habit of coercing members who do not agree to your viewpoint. You have gone out of control; this was a thread about the Flood and its victims..and you started the useless critcism on my avatar, followed by spewing out ignorance, intolerance, illogic, and hatred by using the religion card and hence destroying the entire thread. All you do is chitchatting and derailing threads (go dig the threads for the record). What you think of yourself? You are nothing in the grand scheme of things as you can't think and hence you don't exist even. Look at your level of thinking; the entire Pakhtunkhwa is devastated, and you are busy discussing people's avatar.
This thread is for a much serious problem that is of no importance to you for certain.Othewise, you would not waste other people's time through gibberish. Thousands of people are dead and are missing. You think we have that much time to listen to your nonsense.

Da sta bal sa kaar nishta au bas ukhwa deekhwa khabare kay..moonga pa sa hal yo au ta pakee bekara khabare shoro kharee da..za khapal kar kawa..zan na de rata moolah jor karae dey...

I just wanted to point out that along with material damage we have an increasing post-flood issues. Immediate ones like breaking out of diseases like Cholera.

BLS, that is the most worrisome issue. The problem is that now that we have gastroenteritis, Skin infections, and fever outbreaks, those who have survived will be exposed to these diseases. All of these are highly infectious diseaes barring fever. All water is contaminated and there is no supply of clean water. Knowing that we don't have enough medicines and hospitals, this further would elevate the number of deaths as people will now die from infectious diseases.
Not to forget that we also have the polio virus which unfortunately has not been eradicated from Afghanistan and Pashtunkhwa as of yet. This year we found polio in the sewege water of Khyber agency and some areas in Swat. This polio was the infectious and pathogenic form. The conditions (contaminated water, corpse, dead animals) would now be suitable for the further intensified spread of these viruses and bacteria. I think the worst problem now is the shortage/inavailability of clean water since all the wells/water table is full of mud than anything else.
