Scores dead in Pakistan floods

First we are tortured,killed and slaughtered by Farsiwans Uzbeks Tajiks and Punjabi Talibs, our home are then flattened and destroyed by the big jets of Pak Air force, we are then made Immigrants on our own land, we are forced to live in tents under severe conditions with hardly any basic needs, 1000s of our people are dead in just 10 years

and now the Al Mighty Allah has showered us with floods and now more of us die and suffer.

If we spent less time arguing over the afterlife and who did what 1400 years ago maybe we could have spent the time in weather science or developing technology that could have predicted such a tradegy or even developed some equipment that could have helped us deal with this instead of relying on Charties and such.

The problem is not what someone (I believe him the Holly Prophet of Allah) did 1400 years ago, he did right things to his extent and time. But we are doing in his name is the worse.

If Pashtuns did not get science eductaion because they were busy with religion?
The answer is definitely, no.
Because I see pashtuns followers but no way Pashtun scholars.
We in Pashtun madaris follow, Mehmoodul hassan tafseer, syed qutub tafseer, maududi tafseer, Pani pati tafseer, that and that tafseer and no one among them was pashtun. How many religous books of Pashtun religious scholars are taught in religious schools. I dont know any however if any then rare.
Where is the Mansoora? in Lahore.
Where is the alazhar? In egypt.
Where is Deoband? In india
Where is Raiwind? In lahore.
but where is terrorists camps under all these mentalities? In FATA, AFghanistan (Pashtun domintaed regions), Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa.

Why? because Pashtuns never used their minds. They are mis-used and they are sparing it to be the best food for the worms in grave.

It means things are no way hidden in religion because in religion we are just used as a fuel, not as the leaders. In factories we are used as the labour, not the owner. In Bungalows we are used as watchman, not as an owner. In political parites we are voters, and no way leaders.

We should think and use our brains for our betterment.

Then we can go for science, scholistic vision and development of nation.

It is maybe a curse upon our people for being misguided. You see I have always said our people should concentrate on doing good work and not arguing over small things. Sometimes arguing about qiblah being a few cm of line or arguing over when is eid and so on. They should focus on themselves and fix their situation. Allah said an ummah will not change unless its people change. We cannot sit and make dua to Allah without us making any efforts. You do the effort and then ask Allah to help you.

Pakistan is a corrupt society so always money is not spent in the right ways.

I agree but Erlangner in Religion people follow what their mindsets tell them too. Islam doesn't teach us to follow a Pashtun scholar only.

The question one has to ask: what have the Pashtun done to always be on the receiving end of Allah's wrath?

It has been 100+ years that Pashtuns have been suffering.

Nations make their own destinies, the gods merely spectate from mount K2 (Olympus is too far away). Sinfulness and the wrath of the gods do no make or break nations - nations make or break nations.



Anyway, coming back to the topic, the flooding has been destroying entire villages. Many areas cannot be communicated with at all. The situation is dire for many hundreds of thousands. Unfortunately, this is not the last time we'll see such a catastrophe. With temperatures changing and with glaciers in the Himalayas melting rapidly, we'll see that rain and the flow of water will increase in Pashtunkhwa for at least the coming decade, causing floods (flood-related diseases) and water-logging. After that, however, the Indus will dwindle to almost nothing and a lot of water supply to our villages will simply stop.

tell me about, some of my relatives houses are damaged.
My Mums uncle house was half full of water...thank god my dad bulid our house high.
I seen floods in my village before but this was the wrose!!.
