Why NATO would invade a useful servant like Pakistan? Since 1947 pakistan is serving West. And Afghanistan didnt attack pakistan during 1965 and 1971.

Actually afghan nationalists want to separate Baluchistan from Pakistan so they can have free access to Gwadar port with a friendly/docile neighbor, it's in Afghanistan's interests to attack Pakistan from the westside and support Baluchi insurgents.

Due to nuclear stalemate, full scale war between pakistan and india wont happen, it would be limited to proxy wars as it is nowadays.

Full scale war is most likely off the cards now but a regional conflict like Kargil/Siachen may be fought again in the near future and America might do to Pakistan what they did to Libya and Iraq by imposing sanctions and a no fly zone, then targeting strategic assets.

Its an admirable trait in Pashtuns that they are loyal to extreme, like true and namak-halal chowkidaars, pakistani pashtun would die for his punjabi countrymen rather than betraying their trust and salt. If a situation arise where a Pashtun is asked to back-stab/murder his punjabi friend to save his own life or for money, he would refuse. I dont think that West is supporting Azad baluchistan (I think only India is involved). But they must be studying the issue and are taking interest in it. If Servant goes against master, then ofcourse she might get punishment the from master. And masters of Pakistan, the military , are running the show in Pakistan since 60s, they are created by British and they are the ones who are true servants of west.

They can't or they won't as Pakistan-USA relations are way too complex and beyond the understanding of rookies like us.

America and Pakistan are always in favour of each other,infact the american invasion of Afghanistan has further divided and weakened the Afghanistan state instead of the believed fact of economic improvement and democracy,which ofcourse if not the civilian govt but favour the establishment of Pakistan.

With American leaving,Pakistan again will be the america most important player in the region with Pakistan also having closest relation with the near future Superpower.

Pakistan and israel once considered as the most closest allies of USA.today Pakistan also is considered the most closest and the only real term ally of near future superpower china.

Pakistan only lack the true leadership(Someone like Imran khan) who can put better use of Pakistan strategic location and design a Foriegn foriegn policy which also favour the economic future of Pakistan.

They are, Senator Rohrbacher proposed a resolution 2 years ago and Louie Gohmert raised the issue of Baluchistan in congress this year; the Baloch have representation in EU & UNHCR; Baloch leaders like Khan of Kalat and Hyrbyar marri are now British citizens and Baloch journalists like Malik Siraj are now refugees in America, they're pressing hard in the American press for azad Baluchistan; even BBC Urdu gives them coverage, there was a CIA map leaked out a few years ago of Azad baluchistan and loy afghanistan, so it's on their agenda and even Qatar-owned Al Jazeera made a documentary of their struggle, I think the army is now out of favor with the Sheikhs.

Khan of Kalat has promised to recognize Israel and most Baloch consider themselves Secular whereas Pakistanis are considered Islamists; the media is portraying Pakistan as an Islamic state whereas Baloch rebels are protrayed as fighters for secular values, I have been following the coverage and that is the vibe i get.
