I am not denying that there are lots of real causes for extremism/terrorism to exist. When people are occupied and killed it makes sense for them to exist.

My issue however is, all these groups like Hamas do not understand that they are an ant in front of a elephant. They can never defeat Israel. They have been fighting Israel for almost 70 years, but have they achieved anything? The situation for Palestinians hasn't improved a bit in all these years. It's time to make some serious changes in the way this struggle is conducted. Throwing random weak rockets attacks and suicide attacks on Israel is not going to solve anything. It's time the whole muslim world sits down and actually does something productive/positive for the Palestinians who have suffered for so long. I mean enough is enough, how long will this go for? ask yourself this

I agree with you on all of what you said. However, we are talking logic versus emotion right?

Lets say there is you, me, Toramana, Admin Khan, Jan Khan, and a few of us in a neighborhood. And a guy comes into your home and he sits in your living room and coopts it. You go to remove him and he whips out his gun. Next, he starts to harass your mother, sister, and daughter and pistol whips your 6 year old son for crying. He goes on to say that so long as you and your wife live in the bathroom on floor one and the other family members live in the bathroom in the upper floor - things will be just fine. Now, this comes with conditions. Each time he needs to, he is going to come in and take a shower and use the bathroom... but none of you can leave or budge.

Every now and then, he goes out and buys a new fire arm and periodically he uses his switch blade to cut up your 6 year old and slaps your wife a few times.

Now, the rest of us hear about it. Certainly, we should do right by you and remove that criminal from your home and bring him to trial.

But what if we didn't? What if we all just sit by and didnt lift a finger?

Now time goes buy and your wife has to pay a toll each time she crosses the bathroom threshold and submit to body search. If she goes to the kitchen and comes back, the guy may take the water and throw it down the sink saying she is going to weaponize it.

At some point Karachi, you are going to decide to take matters into your own hands after you try reasoning with the thug. And guess what, as your see your son watching his mother and grandmother get molested verbally and humiliated day after day - and none of your neighbors (some with the means to help) does so, a man reaches his break point.

This is not advocacy, but an explanation of what that is like.

If I was across the street and I saw you punch the intruder and then I saw th the intruder retaliate and give your now 8 year old such a sound beating that he gets a concussion and then I start talking about how Karachi needs to play nice and come up with a better solution - like making the toilet smell better and making the bathroom a little nicer and recognizing the burgler's right to some part of the house (by now majority of the house... you are going to look at me and think I am either an idiot or a severely lacking in empathy.

My point is, some would say that you are telling the Karachi family to just sit by and live and survive and that is advancement and winning - to live another day in humiliation and abject poverty imposed by an intruder.

Sounds logical enough. Probably what a lot of human beings would do.

But on the emotional level - the reason why people applaud revolutionaries like William Wallace (despite the immense odds he faced) and the reason why books record Patrick Henry saying "give me liberty or give me death" and the reason why people eulogize the 300 spartans (despite the fact they died against a super power knowing they would) is that sometimes emotion trumps logic and the human being says: It goes on as long as it needs to so that no matter what, no one takes my dignity and if at the end of it all I lose my life, I never did it submitting.

Is there a third option? Well that third option as you said involves everyone else like Turkey, Pakistan, and those idiot Arab states actually giving a damn and not leaving a man with those stark choices of perpetual less than animal like slavery versus dignity

Yes, a useless book if there ever was one by an admitted and documented employee of Shin Bet.

People were right about you and your extremist agenda thanks for clearing that up.

No problem; I always like to clear it up so that people know I am extremely interested in truth and proof for assertions!

As for other terrorists and extremists in the muslim world, do I have to really spell that out for you? how have they done any good for the muslim world?
here we were talking about hammas and not other terrorist groups. don't mix up the issues and groups. Palestinian issue is totally different from other Arab world's problems. There is no talib, no wahabbi, no aq, you have no excuse here.

                    Good answer Barakzai.
We expect everything good only from Muslims though they are the victims every where. At the other hand, the most educated nations, technologically advanced and so called civilized nations are showering terror on the Muslim world and still they are ignored and only the Muslims are problematic.
This type of thinking and ideologies is coming from those so called educated scholars on internet who never have suffured from pain and difficult times and sitting in their luxurious bedrooms in canada and england and america, pakistan and giving such fairy illogical ideas.

i always wonder how brainwashed people are , taking a side in a conflict which doesnt affect them at all . just because palestinians happens to be muslims ?

it seems they tend to be more or special muslims than us .

not to mention the billions their leadership got by the conflict , the atrocities in the camps in lebanon ,jordan , the blocked gaza border by egyptians ,the support of the hamas by israel . or that they are majority in jordan but still fail to take over power instead being used as an asset ?

i ask my self are palestinians also cry so much tears for pashtun children or people who die by american/british and paki hands ? ( not to mention the us dollars they got over the years and the good relationship they have with the americans and british ) propably they dont mind because they are busy with their own problems .

as should we , we have more than enough problems by ourself .

palestinians have suffered for the last 70 years, at the hand of israelis and at the hand of their arab/muslim brothers. Nobody is helping them. They have been betrayed by everyone. I think this is the main reason people for them so much.

I do agree however that all sufferings around the world should be condemned, including the ones muslims are doing to each other

Inspite of all the disinfo/misinfo/propaganda, the fact is that Israeli/Jews have occupied the home and lands where the Palestinians live/lived. There will be no peace on earth till this US-UK manufactured cancer called Israel is removed from the skin of Arabs/Muslims.

How many occupied lands there are - the US is a much worse occupied land, Turks occupied my land, Pashtuns land is also occupied... there are infinite occupied lands.
But the world turns arround this Arab-Jew conflict, as if other people are subhumans...
