Indian election: Narendra Modi hails 'landmark' win
Incoming Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has hailed a "landmark" election victory by his BJP party.
Thanking supporters in his own constituency in his home state of Gujarat, Mr Modi said they had written a new chapter in the country's history.
Votes counted so far suggest the BJP is on course for the most resounding victory by any party for 30 years, trouncing the outgoing Congress Party.
The controversial leader campaigned on promises to revive the economy.
However, many Indians still have profound concerns over Mr Modi because of claims he did little to stop communal riots in Gujarat in 2002 when he was first minister in the state.
At least 1,000 people died, most of them Muslims.
Mr Modi has always denied the allegations over he was never charged.
    'Real government'
"India has won, good days are about to come," Mr Modi tweeted as it became clear that the BJP had triumphed.
The tweet became the most retweeted in India's history.
The prime minister-elect told his supporters the victory was no ordinary one.
"In the 60-year history of Indian independence, I have never seen this in the Indian media, what you have done in our country," Mr Modi said, as supporters shouted "Modi, Modi, Modi".
He said he would rule for all Indians.

Only Dala People can hope for other to destroy your enemy.

was this the best you can expect?don't you know that it was NDA that has coined the concept of Accepting LOC as international border but Pakistan refused.Even if tomorrow Pakistan agree with making LOC as International border,Modi will be more than jumping to accept it and declare it as the most successful step of his govt to end the kashmir dispute once for all.

I am also noticing that Pakistan is also considering to solve the issue by declaring LOC as International Border,Which in itself will result an addition of 84thousand square km area(Half the size of Bangladesh with huge resource's) into the total landmass or Pakistan

Even though i am not a govt official though i believe it was to prevent the illegal trade, which in turn will be good for both Pakistan and Afghanistan economies

I really doubt Pakistan will care about Afghanistan permission and on top of that Pakistan is building it within its own territory.

So far Afghanistan has also not raised any objection yet.

                      checked,Anyway i can't comment on this.

I don't support any checkpost or anything else to be built on Afghanistan territory though fenced border will be Good for Both countries. As i said earlier despite economic problems,Pakistan has no other choice but to fence the border
