To me Jalalabad and Kandahar are pashto speaking cities...the whole of cental and west Afghanistan are Dari/parsi/persians dominated.
grana wora judging by the tv chanels is not fair, first of all its our weakness of no contribution to our culture, we dont have any good culture programms, accept some songs, no documentries. then the tv chanels make money they will show what people are demanding, do you believe AVT khyber represent pashtun? in kunduz afghansitan there is 35% pashtun the rest are uzbec, arabs, hazara, and others almost all of them speak pashto.

Don't waste your time with him, just ignore him. You will see him in every Afghan forum doing propaganda and ridiculing pashtun/afghans.

just admit it, Dari is mostly spoken in Afghanistan.

                      Population: 29,928,987 (July 2005 est.)

                      Ethnic Make-up: Pashtun 42%, Tajik 27%, Hazara 9%, Uzbek 9%, Aimak 4%, Turkmen 3%, Baloch 2%, other 4%

                      Language in Afghanistan
Pashtu and Dari (Afghan Persian/Farsi) are the official languages of Afghanistan. Pashtu (also written Pushtu) was declared the National Language of the country during the beginning of Zahir Shah's reign, however, Dari has always been used for business and government transactions. Both belong to the Indo-European group of languages.
According to estimates, approximately 35% of the Afghan population speaks Pashtu, and about 50% speaks Dari. Turkic languages (Uzbek and Turkmen) are spoken by about 11% of the population. There are also numerous other languages spoken in the country (Baluchi, Pashai, Nuristani, etc.), and bilingualism is very common.

Wrora a link for this post would be helpful. Second of all, 8 years ago they used to list Pashtuns as 38% and now all of a sudden it is 42%. So these are very unreliable. Second of all Pashtuns are tri-lingual or bi-lingual (more so than other populations), so the case that people can speak dari is no surprise. However that doesn`t mean pashto is only spoken by 35 %. How can that be possible, when the entire south, and east is dominated by Pashtuns? Even in the central areas and many Pashtun strongholds right through the North have pockets of Pashtuns (such as Kunduz, balkh, and so on).
