If I will ask him, who are Pashtun heroes, he will have no idea and may rather answer that they are Babur, Akbar, Aurangzeb, Taipu Sultan, Haider Ali, Mohammad Bin Qasim, etc. From this one can gauge the extent of manipulation of Pashtun history by non-Pashtuns in Pakistan but still he has the audicity to blame the unsullied Pashtun minds.
I studied in that system as well for a few years, and I don`t blame for that. I just dislike his lack of conviction. He switches political stances and jumps from one bandwagon to another. He is trying to convince others when he is not convinced himself. That is the tragedy.

Pashtuns are suffering because Pakistani agenda is successful when Sher Khan has children he will teach them what he knows i.e we are not Afghan and how do you expect to correct them. Sher Khan dont take offense for this its an example on how Pakistan has divided us Pashtuns so brutally. Sher Khan is Yusufzay tribe but I wonder how he feels when he meets the original Yusufzays from Kandahar - Kabul. [They orginated from Kabul-Kandahar]
Well Jasmine one yousafzai is not more original than the other. The only difference is regions. It doesn`t serve any purpose if we say x is original and y is fake (although that may not be your intention, people will construe it as so). Kabir sthorae is a yousafzai from Kunarr, and I am one from Shangla. Although he was a far more learned man than me, we are both òriginal Esepzyes (Yousafzais). This terminology antagonizes our people. About the gaps between our nation, it is also regional. There is a big gap between Pashtun(Afghans) of peshawar and Quetta, but Quetta is closer to Kandahar. Same is the case with other regions.

would he say "oh you are Afghan yusufzay I am pakistani yusufzay we are different" I wonder how Sher Khan feels knowing he is originally either from Kandahar or Kabul.
I know what you meant, but I just wanted to make a point with that statement. Had we not discussed it, there would be a diversion of things, and people would argue on that. See there are many ways people want to divide us, and considering how petty our people can be (at times), it isn`t hard.

Sher Khan after studying his posts today says he is not Afghan because Afghan is also used as an ethnicity.

I felt like borrowing your example BLS the one you always use about how Russian is an ethnicity and nationality but I figured I needed your written consent before I use it. Yea thats how you think when you work for major newspapers.
            By all means use it.

              Sher Khan

I second your stance that Pakhtuns of Pakistan should free Pashtunistan from Pakistan. It will be a heroic job on your part. Leave the Pashtuns in Afghanistan alone. They are free but weak.

Dari is not an officially imposed language unlike Urdu in Pakistan. Dari evolved inside afghan land just as some of our people speak kohistani or gojri in Swat and Hazara, and several languages are spoken in Chitral, but the speakers of these languages are native people of our land and we don't have to disown them or have the right to expel them from our common land.

I have watched Afghan TV shows, Documentary etc and 70% of the time they speak Dari.
To me Jalalabad and Kandahar are pashto speaking cities...the whole of cental and west Afghanistan are Dari/parsi/persians dominated.

So you got this idea from tv shows. And you think only jalalabad and kandahar are Pashto speaking provinces? What about Khost, Paktia, Paktika, Helmand, Oruzgan, Zabul, Farah, kundus, wardak, laghman, kunar, Ghor, Ghazni etc.
