Pakistan has the history of Increasing defence budget 15% Every year.
7.5Billion dollars is way too less for handling this big military.
7.5Billion dollars is 2.7% of GDP
We need a Budget no less than 12-13Billion dollars even if we have to sacrify the Development budgets.Though since the economy has almost recovered. We may see the defence budget to reach 15Billion dollars within a matter of few years."Seer Speen Wazeer"

Economy has not recovered, military budget has been increased, it would increase further when american aid decreases due to withdrawl from afghanistan in 2015 and onwards.....taliban like insurgencies lasts for decades, expect the worse. Stationing 1.5 lakh troops in FATA, costs a lot. Each air sortie costs big money.History of Pashtuns

Who are you fooling with these fancy clothes?. I know very well about "malesha" and their poor performance against taliban.Originally posted by Da Bannu Mazdigar View PostFrontier corps are becoming a force to reckon with.
They may in close future surpass the main stream military of many countries.
Frontier corps at the moment are better than the whole military establishment of Bangladesh or related countries
