Except few dozens students, as shown in above pics, no one is protesting. Paki army is not only bombing people of waziristan but they have also imposed indefinite curfew so that they dont escape. People are trapped there and there is severe food shortage.
And there is another. Hundreds of pashtun women and kids are in the custody of greasy ISI dhalkhors and they have refused to release them. Where is pashtun ghairat?. Paki pashtuns are reeking of dhaal, unfortunately. I see no desertions of pakhtuns from army.

There are tens of millions of Pashtuns in Pakistan and they cannot even organize mass protests or mass shutdowns and strikes, things which both Sindhis and Mohajirs can.

Even the few Sikhs in Pakistan can do more than some of the "ghairatmand" Pashtuns in Pakistan.

      Sikh protesters storm parliament

      May 24, 2014 KASWAR KLASRA

      Sikh protesters storm parliament

ISLAMABAD - Protesting against desecration of their holly book, a handful of Sikhs broke the gate of parliament building early Friday morning and interrupted the House business.
“Around a dozen of Sikh protesters broke the gate of parliament on Friday. It was a major security lapse and I take responsibility as head of ICT police,” Aftab Cheema, Inspector general of Islamabad Police told the media following the incident. He refrained from going into details of the incident.
Protesters aren’t allowed in red zone, which is home to sensitive buildings including parliament, Prime Minister House and President House, Supreme Court and Prime Minister Office.

Large number of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) police personnel remains on high alert in the red zone to keep the terrorists at a bay. However, the breach of security by unarmed Sikh protesters in this most sensitive place comes as a slap in the face of police authorities.
Eyewitnesses said around a dozen of heavily built and aggressive Sikhs reached at the front gate of the parliament house, breaching high security. They were protesting against desecration of their holly book. After almost an hour of high drama, Leader of House Senator Raja Zafarul Haq held meetings with the Sikh protesters and convinced them to call off their protest.
The first attempt of Sikh protesters to enter the premises of parliament, where proceedings of Senate were going on, was failed by security officials deputed at the main entrance. But the enraged protesters stormed the gate once again and forced entry into the premises, breaking through the main gate.
“It appeared to me that parliament building was under attack. I could see a dozen of long bearded people with turbans on their heads pushing back the security men and rushing towards the main building,“ Sikander Bakht, told The Nation. “The very first thought that came to my mind was that these people might be from the TTP (Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan).”
A security official deputed at the main gate endorsed Sikander’s point and said the protesters overpowered the security staff and forced their entry into the parliament premises. “It all happened in few seconds. Protesters got hold of us all and rushed towards the main building,” A sub Inspector told the Nation on condition of anonymity. He added that security staff deputed at the main gate brought the situation in notice of their immediate bosses but they did not get any clear orders to disperse the protesters.
Officials said the protesters, after breaking the main gate, marched towards the main building of parliament where a number of senators were holding press briefing. Having come to know that parliament building was under attack, the senators and hundreds of officials were panicked. A wave of fear was felt among the senators and the officials working in the parliament House. Some of the officials who spoke with this correspondent said they were under the impression that parliament was under attack by militants.
“I was busy in routine work when I learnt about entrance of terrorists inside the building. Everyone was panicked,” a senior official at the Parliament House said. As reports of security breach by a group of unauthorised people reached the senators, most of them thought it was a militant attack while few of them got the impression that army has taken over.
Senior correspondent for this newspaper Inamullah Khattak, who was there to cover Senate proceedings, said the senators looked worried for some time after coming to know that something wrong was going on there.
“Senator looked quite scared after they got to know a violent mob had penetrated deep into the parliament building. For more than an hour, the senators and Parliament House staff remained confined to their chambers and were advised not to leave the building until the situation comes to normalcy,” Khattak said.
Later in the day, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali chaired a high level meeting of Islamabad administration and police to review security situation in the capital here today. The minister took strong notice of the incident and directed for immediate suspension and charge-sheeting of one SP, three DSPs and three SHOs who were held responsible for the security lapse.
“The minister asked the IGP to inculcate a perception in the mind of every person in uniform that he should be as vigilant and responsible as if the entire security of the city depends on him,” a press note issue from Nisar’s office stated. According to it, the minister directed that Rapid Response Force consisting of Islamabad and Rawalpindi police as well as Rangers will patrol in the twin cities round the clock.
Islamabad DC and SSP Operations informed the minister that district administration and police had allowed the Sikhs under a negotiated understanding to hold a protest demonstration in front of the Islamabad Press Club. However, at the last moment, seeing the focus of Islamabad police on the PTI rally, the Sikh rally violated that understanding and started running towards the Parliament. Nadra Chairman informed the minister that work on a Command Centre under the Safe City Project would start next month and would be ready by end of September.

ANP was supposed to come forward in support of people of waziristan but they have joined hands with paki army. So is case with gadoonwal's QWP. Even if we believe them, that TTP are agents of ISI, why they are not protesting against ISI/Army?. Shame on them

Twin blasts a warning from militants against Waziristan operation

                  Munawer Azeem

                  Published about 7 hours ago

ISLAMABAD: The two explosions in the capital city early Saturday were described as a warning from militant outfits against the military operation in North Waziristan.

A senior police official on the condition of anonymity told Dawn that the explosions were carried out to create panic and terrorise the citizens. “It was a warning from the militants affiliated with terrorist outfits,” he added.

“The terrorists wanted to warn the government to get ready for more brutal acts of terrorism in the city against the killing in North Waziristan by security forces,” the official said, adding warning in such a way was never given in the past.

Police say booby-trapped IED used in capital for the first time

Besides, evidence collected from one of the blast sites showed that it was a booby trap which was never used in the capital before.

“It is difficult to defuse a booby trap as it goes off when someone touches it.”

The official said the modus operandi used in carrying out the two blasts suggested that they were prepared by a same group.

One person was killed and another injured in one of the blasts.

In both the incidents, improvise explosive devices carrying low density materials weighing one to two kilogrammes were used, the police said, adding there were no ppellets, ball bearings or shrapnels attached with the IED.

The bombs exploded at Super Market and G-9 Markaz at round 2:15am and 3:40am respectively.

The first blast took place in a parking area in the Super Market in which a man was killed and another injured.

The police said the watchman of a jewellery shop found an abandoned shopper in the parking lot. When the watchman touched the shopper with his foot, the device concealed inside it went off ripping his leg part.

“It seems that the device was made on the pattern of a booby trap,” the police said.

The casualties would have been more had the device remained unattended till the morning rush hours, they added.

The second blast took place in a car parked at the parking lot of a showroom at Karachi Company (G-9 Markaz) when the police were busy collecting evidence at the Super Market blast site. However, no one was injured or killed in the explosion, the police added.

The Cultus was brought to the showroom for sale two days back. The device used in the blast resembled with the one that went off in the Super Market.

However, it is yet to be established how it was detonated.Meanwhile, security in the capital city has been further tightened with the deployment of more policemen at various points to avert any untoward incident.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mohammad Ali Nekukara ordered combing and search operations in the slum areas, forests and greenbelts of the city.

Extra vigilance at entry and exit points of the city has also been ordered. The SSP directed for extra deployment of police personnel and security measures at important locations.

He said police commandoes would be deputed around sensitive locations and important buildings.

Special police teams would be constituted by each police station for effective patrolling in their respective jurisdictions, he said, adding that Rescue-15 should keep in touch with the heads of police stations to respond to any emergency situation.

First of All they themeselves are victims of contineous war since decades. Secondly i dont think they are aware of atrocities in waziristan just like paki pakhtuns have no idea what is happening there.
All of the students , in your pictures, are from waziristan except of those afridis of last year. I know it for certain that many wazirs and mehsuds are members of ANP and its student wing, they are used for badmashi, nothing else. A mehsud told me that any waziristani or pakhtun of southren districts, joining peshawer-dominated ANP, is biggest fool on earth. ANP atleast should have come forward in support of its waziristan's members, but if i remember correctly ANP governament order police to beat and use tear gas on Afridi protestors last year, who put their dead bodies infront of governor house as protest.
Bengali, you might be supporting ANP for whatever reasons, but they have lost credibility among pashtuns. They never grow beyond peshawer valley, they are selfish and short-sighted people who first sold themeselves to commies and now paki establishment.

About the twin blasts in islamabad, i hope TTP has come to its senses and terrorize only punjabis and spare pashtuns, but that might be my wishful thinking. According to asfandyar wali, fazlullah told him in 2009 that he wont forgive punjab. It might be true as when fazlullah became head of TTP, news started circulating that fazlullah has decided to punish punjab. Unlike his predecessors, more attacks owned by TTP happened in punjab while none of the blast in peshawer was claimed by TTP.
Taliban are stupid and empty-headed, in exchange for gaining few hundreds punjabi taliban, they have alienated whole pashtun belt. If they had refrained from doing blasts in pakhtun areas from the start, and focused on war against punjab, they could have tens of thousands of supporters. Their guerrall warfare and deadliness is awesome, but their mindset and ideology is ****ed up. You can only succeed in war against pak army if you use both islam card and pashto card.

The thread will be deleted by the defence.pk admin (which clearly works with the Pakistani military. Senior personnel are from military families and are retired soldiers and some are active. They also deleted a thread recently which highlighted the ISI presence in Bangladesh. Defence.pk is an important propaganda tool for the Pakistani military e.g. it has 1 million facebook likes), however I have saved printscreen images of those quotes above. The person who started that thread complained about an earlier thread of his being deleted though all he did was merely ask if the Pakistani military's actions had caused the death of civilians.

The quotes above serve to show that the Pakistan army is the same army that carried out the 1971 genocide and that many of its members and supporters worship it and the state of Pakistan as essentially a god for who even little children can be slaughtered and sacrificed for.

We pray for our Muslim brothers and sisters in Waziristan that their suffering ends and that this war and killing comes to an end.

                          Ameen, thumma ameen.

Imran Khan, Chairman of Pakistan Tehrik-e -Insaf (PTI) has now realized a press statement as follows:-

Chairman Imran Khan’s Press Statement (May 22, 2014)

Chairman PTI, Imran Khan, today expressed serious concern over the aerial bombing through planes and helicopter gunships in NWA.

Especially with regard to civilian casualties. Khan said he feared this could be the start of a full-scale ground operation which would lead to more IDPs. He pointed out that already there are almost 2 million IDPs who are in bad shape and almost forgotten by the state.

Khan demanded the PM inform the parliament what was the status of the dialogue with the TTP which had resulted in a sharp decline in acts of terror especially in Khyber Puikhtunkhwa. Also, Khan stated, the main tribes in Waziristan were fully supportive of the talks and the ceasefire.

He said it was incomprehensible why the talks would be undermined at this stage or why the political leadership would be kept in the dark by the government on the actual status of the talks.

I posted those quotes not to make people hate each other but to make people realize the dangerous nature of the Pakistani military. Militarism anywhere is generally intolerant and somewhat fascistic. However in many countries militaries are subordinate to the people and civilian government and not worshipped. They are countries with militaries, in the background, not mentioned much.

Pakistan however is an army with a country. The military rules the country and questioning the military is equivalent to "treachery" in the eyes of the military and their tens of millions of supporters in Pakistan.

Imran Khan, has his flaws, however he is at least trying to calm the situation down and has spoken about this issue and also mentioned the 2 million refugees already made homeless from previous battles.

Pakistan can only ever gain peace if it brings its military and ISI under control. One does not have to be a good Pakistani by worshipping the brutal military and ISI, like one does not have to be a good American by worshipping the brutal American army and CIA. Pakistan and America are nations and societies that are separate from the militaries that exist there.

What is happening in Waziristan is a grave tragedy and despite what some may suspect that I am using this opportunistically to vilify the Pakistan army, I am not. Those protestors whose pictures I posted above called for FATA to be bought in to the mainstream, to be integrated in to the rest of Pakistan. They are not calling for an end to Pakistan but an end to the slaughter of innocents.

                                This killing must stop.

There are 2 million people made refugees.

The Pakistani army is a failure. It has a nuclear bomb, which is supposed to protect the lives of its people. Yet there are 2 million people who have lost their houses and are refugees.

Pakistani civil society and moderates including the likes of Imran Khan, Hamid Mir, Ansar Burney, Asma Jahangir, Najam Sethi must stop this madness. Once this killing and terrorism is finally bought to an end, the Pakistan army must face what the once supreme Turkish army has faced and that is being muzzled and made subservient to the people and not lords over them.
