Most Pashtuns from Kabul and Kandahar practice an opposite of this known as "Zana ka bazi" and this has been reported to be practiced mostly by Pashtuns..

And as I say this as Pashtun from the South, It is widely practiced there as well.

Excuse making at its finest; the problem with pashtuns; not taking responsibility.
OK, lets be honest. Answer these questions.
        1. Did this practice increase or decrease under Pashtun control from 1996-2001.

        2. Did it increase or decrease under foreign(NATO) control after 2001.

the answers would tell you if Pashtun want or if foreigners want it.

But it was under Pashtun control before 1996 so limiting the question to that five year gap is a red herring.

so there goes your first question; faulty premise.

              2. Also what about long before this? this practice was already widely known before NATO was even involved; which means it's not foreign at all. The NATO factor is thus just an excuse.

So you're admitting it's a Pashtun thing; good. because then we can address these problems and change our culture fittingly to be compatible with Islam.

But you're the guy who doesn't even understand what a widely known Pashto singer sings. Sorry you don't have any credibility to make these claims about me either way. LOL

well then, then the Jirga should have decided based on Shariah which would have prevented Tor. The Taliban were actually taking measures to eliminate this practice but the foreigners are preventing Pashtuns from progress.

I don't know about the Taliban trying to change the practice; but I do agree that NATO does not have an interest in progressing Afghanistan.
