that's funny you say this since Bacha Bazi is practiced as a common part of Pashtun culture.

Maybe you're projecting; when reality is hard to handle projection is how those in denial deal with their cognitive dissonance. I think you're missing the point; we're talking about the KILLING of unmarried men and women for elopement. This is against Shari'ah but as you see by the link ABOUT PASHTUNWALI I posted from a PASHTUN source; it's advocated by Pashtunwali. The actual method of execution is irrelevant since that's not the Pashtunwali code deals with. And since Pashtunwali is "open" when it comes to that stuff there's no restriction on it either.

You know why all this comes as a shock to you? You aren't Pashtun and have no idea what Pashtunwali teaches.

The problems may lie with forced marriages, women have many rights in Islam, yet many men in our part of the world dont allow them those rights

Wikipedia isn't a Pashtun source; the site I linked is a Pashtun cultural website.

Saudi has everything to do with it; you have their hand up inside of you telling you what to say. Their extremism matches yours.

                RTR,
Why do you keep bringing up bacha bazi as a Pashto thing when I have proven to you many times even with your own sources that it is not. bacha bazi is a foreign thing to Pashtuns.

If that was true then there wouldn't be major leaders in Pashtun regions like Gul Agja Sherzai who practice Bacha Bazi. Yes it exist up North too, but for you to say it's not a major part of Pashtun society is just simply denial.

There are gazillions of Farsi words in Pashto; so that doesn't prove anything.

Nang is also a Farsi word,m Namus and Ghairat are Arabic; doesn't prove that these things aren't in Pashtunwali.

Anyways I posted a PASHTUN source which describes Pashtunwali; and you haven't .....soooo You're at this point simply in denial

Well you have to think about what constitutes proof; merely response and denying something is not proof. It's widely practiced amongst Pashtuns, then Pashtuns made it their own; it is thus a Pashtun cultural thing..

and don't tell me this; tell This Saudi guy to stop tossing around the word Bacha Bazi as a response.

That just means that you're an outside ignorant of Pashun culture; not that there is no Thor.

But numerous sources confirm it's entrenched in Pashtun culture, which is what my statement dealt with.
