My dearest sister, I was just referring to how Pakistanis are better Muslims. They have sacrificed a lot for Islam.

As for the topic at hand, I don't agree with banning anything: banning is not the solution. People have to be brought up properly and taught right from wrong.

Muslim societies are all living contradictions. Why do you think they are so behind?

Today Fox News published a report on Pakistan and refereed to it as Pornistan claiming that it is “No. 1 Nation in Sexy Web Searches”. Whatever keywords Fox News has mentioned are factual and not made-up.

I don’t deny the fact that Pakistan ranks 1st on these keywords. I also don’t deny the fact that porn is popular in Pakistan. However, I deny that Pakistan is “No. 1 Nation in Sexy Web Searches” as claimed by Fox News.

Pakistan is top dog in searches per-person for “horse sex” since 2004, “donkey sex” since 2007, “rape pictures” between 2004 and 2009, “rape sex” since 2004, “child sex” between 2004 and 2007 and since 2009, “animal sex” since 2004 and “dog sex” since 2005, according to Google Trends and Google Insights, features of Google that generate data based on popular search terms.

It’s funny how they mentioned keywords are few of the least popular keywords when it comes to pornography. Below is the image of comparison of these keywords along with other major keywords related to pornography like “sex”, “porn”, “big tits”



If you have a look at the image, the search volume for keyword “sex” is FAAAR more than other keywords. Keyword “Porn” has the 2nd highest search volume. Followed by “big tits” and then there is this little search volume for “rape sex” and “horse sex” which you might spot with a magnifying glass.

Since we have an understanding that other keywords consume much largely to porn searches, let’s now have a look at their traffic distribution.

I don’t see Pakistan occurring even in the top 10 regions here. It’s a shame how Fox news has refereed to a country as Pornistan just to sell off their papers. We all exactly know the status of Fox news in international media. The stunt they played is exactly like referring to Pakistan as “Number 1 nation in music searches” since it ranks number 1 on keyword “Sufi Music”!

My conlucison from the above-mentioned article is that Pakistanis rank higher for "SAX" (and not SEX), Child Sex (and not Pedophile), and all those other trends for Zoophilia (Algeria is no.1 for Zoophilia but Pakistan for Camel Sex)...Thefore Pakistan is Pure like the way a child is born from his mother's womb. It can allow access to camel sex since it does not qualify as blasmphemy but it should ban Google, Facebook,etc. since these are the blasphemous sites.Furthermore, America and the lame Fox News are the biggest Sex Offenders and it is a great conspiracy against Pure-istan. Dear MWMN, I don't think if someone is exhibiting any form of hatred here. Everyone is just trying to defend their viewpoint. Some think Fox is doing anti-Pakistan propaganda and is baised. Others are of the view that it still does not change the fact that Pakistan allows access to Porn websites as much as it bans google and facebook. Still others are confused who is better muslim or that who accepted half- or full Quran.
Let us continue our healthy discussions. I am sure PF Moderators are vigilant enough to take care of any such unfavorable event.

All I am saying:
Fox used Google Trends data to term Pakistan as "porn-istan".
Pakistan ranked highest for some of the search terms which qualify as PORN.
Fox news got a spicy news to share with world. It specifically picked Pakistan and made a story that Pakistanis are interested in watching porn on web.
I picked up the news because I always thought Pakistan is doing wrong by banning Google, Facebook, wikipedia and tons of other websites.
I wanted to show the hyprocritical nature of Pakistani govt. and that the bias they show towards different websites.
I showed Pakistani bias as much as Fox showed it to the world by stealing it from Google trends.

So far WHY is concerned, ANGAAR has provided detailed reasons for this. You can dig his post on this thread as one of the examples.

I am sincere only to Pashtuns. Showing someone's double standards does not qualify as hatred. I request to refrain from sensationalizing everything for goodness.
