WAR ON ISLAM. Putin's KGB banned Holy Koran in Russia

A Russian translation of the Koran is now officially banned by the KGB. According to Russian media, on September 18, an "October district court" in the Russian-occupied Emirate city of Tsemez ("Novorossiysk") banned reading "The semantic translation of the Holy Koran into Russian" (translated from Arabic by E.R. Guliyev. 1st edition. King Fahd Complex for Printing of the Holy Koran, Medina, Munawwara, Saudi Arabia, 2002).

According to the KGB court, the Koran is "extremist literature" under the Russian Criminal Code article # 282. "The Koran calls for hostile and violent acts of one group of people against another on the basis of religion, in this case, Muslims against non-Muslims", the KGB court ruled. According to Russian federal laws, it is now forbidden to read the Koran translation all over Russia, and keeping it at home is a criminal offense.

It is interesting to note that this unprecedented act of war on Islam remained virtually unnoticed by the media. Russian as well as western media outlets ignored the ruling of the KGB court. So-called muftis and various Muslim organizations in Russia are also silent.

once I was arrested by the police cause they hav taken me for another person. While being in their office they had a quran at work, cause they were Chechens.
You can by the Quran in every almost every even small bookshop in Russia.

Putin, who is always supporting Muslims, who is always giving us a message for the Ramadan and each of Eid days, who is always protecting all Muslim areas, the one who just recently gave permission to build one more mosque in one of the biggest cities even tough orthodox Christian neighborhood was against it, he just like that told that now Quran is forbidden in Russia!? You must be joking. Do you know that every religion is protected by the constitution here and even president can't change it? And do you know that we are the second major religion in the country? How do you imagine that suddenly half of the country will be illegal?
And one more thing, there is no such a structure as a KGB in our country already for many-many years.

But just check my link, You can easily order the Quran on web, you can by it in every store there.
I am not blind.
That doesn't mean Russias politics towards Chechens are good or anything.
But You can really buy the Quran there.
Have You ever been there?
With this article you get the feeling that as Muslim you get jailed and that the Quran is impossible to get.
You can easily get this translation.
Why taking it for trouth?
I don't know about the local court decision, but see what will happen with this court decision if it really exists before telling "the Quran is forbidden in Russia".

Under that link is written that Russian muftiyat is agreed with the court decision because the discusses translation of Holy Quran is different from the real meaning and belongs to some extremist sect who call themselves Muslim. And it is not the Quran forbidden, it is just one of translations onto Russian language forbidden because there are some false meanings of suras.

I have not gone deeper in the matter but I guess that there may be some truth in this news because recently a Saudi friend of mine gave me a Quran published by the same King Fahd complex in Medina whose exegesis is full of extremist, sectarian and terrorist teachings. For example two pages are written that why Fatha must be recited in all prayers and have strongly opposed Hanafi school who do not recite Fatha in congregational prayers.

Similarly on the verses of Jihad there are so many extremist views presented blatantly. People who read Quran with translation and exegesis will take these comments as injunctions of Quran .

Thus there may be a reason of banning such kinds of Qurans published in Saudi to promote their extremist ideology. If Russia has done it then very good if not then they should do it now and other countries must follow the suit.

A movement must be launched by all moderate Muslims to boycott Qurans published in Saudi Arabia.
