The following blog is respected by many (though I have my issues with it) and is written by an ex-US military man based in Florida.

- The Saker has a major internet following with hundreds of high quality comments on each of his articles.
- In the article above we can see that there were 12,942 views i.e. almost 13,000 views on just one article from 4 days ago.
The Saker wrote that Russia would not intervene in Syria militarily and then later when it started he wrote that it would be far more limited than it actually has.
Bengal_Tiger predicted 5 months before hand and actually maybe even 2 or more years earlier that Russia would interfere in Syria militarily and that Syria is a red line for China and Russia, two nuclear giants.
Bengal Tiger was right, Saker was wrong.
Why the reason for stating all this? Is it a case of self-praise?
No it is due to all the abuse, ridicule that I have suffered on this forum that I have decided to make this point.
The abuse includes:
- Insults to my family.
- Threads targeting me.
- Calling me a homosexual, bisexual, womanizer etc.
The people who have insulted me over the past few years include the likes of of course Luffy (History of Pashtuns), Mahmoud Al-Yemeni, Da Bannu Mazdigar, Pakwatan ("ANACommander"), Shamlawar Khurasani and other enemies of Pashtuns, all of whom have started threads exclusively devoted to attacking me.
Despite that I believe the thousands of people that read this forum should understand that my predictions on geo-political affairs are usually (not always) right.
Bengal_Tiger's predictions on Afghanistan.
- Kabul government is here to stay backed by Russia, China, India, central Asian countries, Iran, Turkey basically everybody except Pakistan.
- If it looks like the Kabul government could ever fall then Russia and China will exert strong pressure on Pakistan to stop their Taliban proxies and Russia itself may think of launching a Syria style operation in Afghanistan if the Kabul government allows them too.

As for the Iran-Saudi clash the current media hype about their hostility is just that, "hype", both are at maximum positions already in terms of hurting each other, short of full out war which they cannot afford to do. Iran would easily win a war against Saudi but is not in a position to wage such a war or the aftermath and needs stability for economic reasons.
The west and its media is just mentally masturbating over the idea of yet another fratricidal Muslim conflict.
The key issue is the Saudi war in Yemen.
Will the Saudis win there?
NO.
Can they take Sana'a, the Yemeni capital?
NO.
If King Salman and his son damage the country even more both financially and militarily, the senior Saudi princes may in concert remove them from power and put in another king who will be less aggressive.
However the Saudis will most likely be around for the next half a decade at the very least.
