Question: What is the ruling on performing a suicide-attack among jews?

Shaykh Ibn Bâz: I deem, which I have indicated several times earlier, that it is not correct, for it is suicide. Allâh (ta’âlâ) said:
“And do not kill yourselves (nor kill one another).”
(The Qur’ân 4:29, interpretation of its meanings)
Moreover, the prophet (sallâ Allâhu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
“The one who commits suicide with something, will be punished with it until the day of Judgement.”
    (al-Bukhârî 5700, and Muslim 108)

The human being should take care of his/her life. If the time of Jihâd were to come, he then does it (Jihâd) with the Muslims. If he were to die, then all praise is due to Allâh.

As for blowing oneself up among others, it is both wrong and disallowed. The same goes for stabbing oneself among them. The actions of the Palestinians are wrong. They are not correct. However, they are obliged to call towards Islâm, study, guide and advise and not act [in an erroneous way].

He argued that since both, Saddam and Americans are mushrikoon, it is permissible to ask for help from a Mushrik against another Mushrik. His reasoning was based on the fact that Rasool Allah sal allahu alayhi wasalam used kafir help during his wars and conflicts.

His opponents claim that his ruling is invalid because the kafirs in this case have superiority over Muslims and their arrival is not without consequences.

His opponents were right, as we have seen, the Americans entered under false pretext, but today, they are there permanently.

Even though there are some scholars in Saudi who still look for justifications for American presence there, the stronger view is that it was a mistake.

You must learn to understand that scholars are not all corrupt, evil and hypocritical. If you don't understand their reasoning and if you haven't investigated the matter, don't assume bad things about them. Even if they are not scholars.

In Islam we are suppose to have husnu dhan for the believers.
Why not the same husnu dhan for the presence of US in Afghanistan? You let them enter in Saudi but not in Afghanistan to crush suicide bombers and killers of innocent Afghans.

You are right. It seems he did prohibit it. There is an obscure audio atributed to him allowing it but its not from a reliable source.

The one who allowed it was al Albani. But he is not Saudi.
