  • Pakistan blames Afghan militants for deadly bombing

Pakistan's interior minister says Nato and Afghanistan are not doing enough to stop Taliban militants crossing the border from Afghanistan into Pakistan.
Rehman Malik also disputed the widely-held belief that Pakistani militants are freely heading in the other direction to fight coalition troops.
He told the BBC that he blamed Afghan militants for Friday's attack in Mohmand district.
The attack, the deadliest in Pakistan this year, killed more than 100 people.
It happened in an area the Pakistani government had recently claimed had been cleared of militants and said was safe for civilians to return to.
Mr Malik says he has intelligence to prove his claim

Mr Malik says he has intelligence information to prove that the attackers had crossed the border from Afghanistan.
He said he had "demanded" that the Afghan government and Nato "stop border infiltration".
But there is considerable evidence to suggest militants have been heading in the opposite direction relatively freely - something Mr Malik claims his government has put a stop to.
And, of course, the attacks in Pakistan have been taking place not just in tribal border areas like Mohmand, but right across the country.
That has caused a great deal of anger among Pakistanis, many of whom believe their government simply does not have the right strategies in place, or the competence, to reduce the threat.

I also think that attackers have crossed the border from Afghanistan. But I am not sure who is the culprit.

I'd be rolling over in laughter if it wasn't for the fact that this may be slightly disrespectful.

Pakistan POINTING the finger of blame on others??

Once the US pulls the plug on this it is pretty much going to be the final curtain call. The thing, that we should perhaps be asking is WHY the US won't do just that?

Malgariya, you deserve 10 kaaldare for this.
I think there are certain rites and rituals that need to be performed before the funeral. A state, however corrupt, contradictory and malicious, is a state none the less. Things take time. Paksitan has been made to face an existential threat. If Pakistan moves, it faces death and internal fractures. If it doesn't, it faces an overrun of the state by international forces. Either way, Pakistan's days are numbered.

Malgare, the cost of keeping Pakistan as a lapdog may prove to be too much to pay because the tummies of the Punjabi generals are bottomless pits. Plus, Pakistan has a certain nuisance value which is not conducive to peace in the region.

Malgariya, there are enough terrorists in Pakistan and on the payrolls of ISI to fill all the prisons in the world. Pakistan is the centre of terrorism, not Afghanistan.

Malgariya, the Binori Madrassha in Karachi and the Haqqania Madrassha in Akorhi are bastions of extremist Islam. Terrorists from these seminaries and their brethren from Southern Punjab, the SSP and JeM, were the foot soldiers of the Taliban during their Northern Campaigns, quenching their thirst for Shia blood.

What I find very Strange from the Pakistani Politicians, is they on one side praise Taliban from Afghanistan, provide them with shelter(haqqani and co), support an America withdrawal on media talk shows and now they blaime Afghans for this Mess.

I also find it extremely biased on the side of the Paakistani Media coverage, when a Shrine is bombed in Punjab,Lahore it has world wide attention, but when a famous and well respected Pashtun poet by the name of Rahman Baba had his shrine bombed by Taliban, where were the EU and Punjab media covering it?

                        Usual Double standards by Pakistan.

They do operations on LaL masjid but dont shut down the Sami Ul Haq Madrassah which is the birthplace of Taliban movement and the recruitment centre for Taliban militancy.

                        Kind Regards
