  • So have Imran Khan and his party done anything good yet?

after all the hype and the dust being settled from the elections, i think its possible to gauge his party's performance so far. so for the well informed, has anything good come out of their rise to power or is too early to tell?
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

PTI is like Pim Fortuyns party in the Netherlands. Pim Fortuyn was a homosexual intellectual. His status is similar to that of Imran Khan in Pakistan. Fortuyn criticized the establishment and offered no real solutions. Still he decided to become a politician and formed his own party from a group of weird individuals. Few days before the elections he was shot by a crazy left wing extremist. His party got allot of votes because his rhetoric was shallow and nationalist. Just like PTI. Fortuyn died from his wounds but that didnt stop his party of amateurs and weirdos from becoming a major part of the new cabinet.

This cabinet fell in a short while due to internal conflicts among fortuyns party members. Soon the party was desolved.

I believe that PTI has no future. The party wont last another election round.

Its a common perception thoughout khyber pakhtunkhwa that no one (govt officials or employees) listen to PTI members. Because they dont know how to run the system and do politics.
They do not have any experience with the system, beaurocracy and people. So uptill now no performance. Hope they do some good in the future.

I think the morale of PTI and Imran Khan suffered after the unfair elections everywhere, though I doubt they could have achieved what ever they promised

The solution for Pakistan is public beheadings of corrupt politicians and public servants including army and intelligence.

The spilling of the blood of the people responsible for the peoples misery is necessary as a deterent for future public servants.

But the question is who os going to administer justice? The society is so thoroughly corrupt that it is not possible to have any alternative organization that is not some how corrupt.

This solution is wishful thinking because it will never happen, if it were so easy than the khalifah would be the only super power on earth today.

It is a solution but not one that we could see on our times. Maybe in future insaa Allah.

Which is why muslims should not live in fairy tale dream lands and adjust to modern political realities.

nobody can do it unfortunately, as muslim countries are mostly jahil backwards and brainwashed. I still can't believe how many army worshipers there are in countries like Pakistan or Egypt, when they know their armies receive billions of dollars from America to kill their own people, this is level of jahilya among " so called" muslims

                      The situation is very dire

I'm tired of Muslims who say "oh, the Khalifah will never be restored in our lifetime but inshallah in the future."

The United Islamic Republic can be achieved tomorrow if Muslims want to. But they don't, they just "hope it will occur in the future, inshallah"

Muslims in the west are to comfortable working 9-5, and the youth are too happy attending school. Muslims in the East are to neurotic to do anything about their puppets. Wake the fuc up man.

This is the most astute observation. It is the key.

Unfortunately, PTI has failed on many fronts:

                            - They control Pashtunkhwa yet they haven't blocked NATO's supplies. So much for all the pre-election bravado. It helped them get votes, at least.

                            - PTI continues to receive money from USAID while bad-mouthing it at every occasion. Typical namak-haram Pakistanis.

                            - PTI's confused leaders have been making some of the most outrageous statements in recent history. A lack of ideology and experience in the party, that's made of up mostly lotas (disloyal career politicians), is now being exposed. After an attack on a Shia Mosque, a PTI leader said, "yeah so what? It's just a bomb, it's not like the Day of Judgement is upon us!". On another occasion, party leaders blamed US drones for sectarian attacks against Shias.

                            - With amost all their 90 days up, they are yet to eliminate corruption. During the elections, they said the Abasin will flow with milk and honey in 90 days. The Abasin, however, continues to flow with the blood of Pashtuns.

                            - Pashtunkhwa chief minister Pervez Khattak has appointed and posted his relatives on various government positions, elected and otherwise. So much for speaking out against ANP's nepotism.

                            - The people of Pashtunkhwa are paying with their lives for PTI's grave miscalculation. Imran Khan thought that if he appeased the TTP and didn't condemn them during the elections, the TTP will in turn stop attacking Pashtunkhwa once PTI comes into power. Imran Khan, as we all know now, was completely wrong.

                            - It's now getting stale but just like the right-wing media in the US blames Obama for everything, PTI blames US drones for just about every ill in Pashtunkhwa. It's their party's mantra.

                            - D.I. Khan jail-break. Need I say more?

                            - PTI has no plans to promote and preserve Pashto and Pashtun culture in Pashtunkhwa. After all, it's a Punjab-based party and most hardcore PTI supporters hate Pashto and prefer Urdu over it.
