the black panthers took care of business. there were no drugs in the neighborhoods when the black panthers were around, the thugs feared them. The law enforcement outlawed them. They took out the people that actually cared about their communities and empowered the ones that are destroying it.

the problem was that everyone liked what the panthers were but no one wanted to go down like the panthers did. i live 10 min away from where the panthers were born but there is no way in hell i would leave my car parked there unless i wanted it stolen. in the grand scheme of things, they were a flash in the pan, their impression was great but it didn't rally enough blacks behind them to make them a factor.

Its the same dealer, not a different one. There is huge a difference. If a person commits a crime in a white neighborhood, its a big deal, but if a person commits a crime ina black neighborhood, its nothing. the criminal is back on the street because they don't want to spend the money on the criminal while in prison because they don't care about the victim in the black neighborhood. they only care about he victim in white neighborhoods.
These are facts.

the whole national debate about racial profiling is bogus. they are not talking about the real issues and they are only putting up a bunch of black idiots who probably grew up in white neighborhoods on the debating platform who not only know anything but don't care.

Check out this article about a neighborhood in East New York. There haven't been a shooting in 363 days. All thanks to neighborhood patrols by the residents themselves. Who walk around the projects and stop fights before it escalates. It has been effective because they live in the community, and aren't arrogant like cops are.

i don't know about them being outlawed, there are some offshoots of them such as the new black panthers who have put a price on george zimmermans head. these groups are so small and socially/politically insignificant that they don't really factor into any social discussion. this is not afghanistan, these old panthers are not being locked up for what they believe and are still out there, the problem is that the younger generation simply doesn't care. these old guys are still on the radio preaching their good message but it just doesn't compute with these young black kids.

FBI Hoover said they were the greatest threat to internal security. in the 68 Olympics, those two black medalists gave the panther salute during the national anthem and they were disbarred. The group wwas disbanded. Its in the books.

I think it changed when the drugs went into their neighborhoods, gangs set up shop in the same neighborhoods and the police ignored the gangs just like they are ignoring it today.

He has a point you know. After all, 2/3 of American jails are filled with blacks. They obviously did something to end up there.
