    Inadequate for 3 main reasons:

    1. He completely glosses over the biggest factor for US concern - the peace treaty with Israel that Sadat signed decades ago. The US and Israel are intent upon making sure the Palestinians have no underground tunnel into Egypt for arming and reequiping.

I mean he never even addresses this paramount fact:

    http://articles.washingtonpost.com/2...ed-morsi-sinai

    2. He completely ignores the fact that the Salafists and not the regime remnants came in second in a crucial part of the electoral process. Scheuer addresses this in his article.

    3. He ignores the data on a massive scale that has twice shown the the fact that only 11% of Egyptian people view no place for the Quran in the law system yet a large proportion view its strict interpretation as introducable into law.

    4. He glosses over America's role and friendship with Egypts military intelligence apparatus (which is why they tried to install Omar Suleiman but failed).

He also is being a bit coy by suggesting that all the military does is sell land and chickens.

A true revolution would result in the disbanding of the Egyptian military wholesale.

The current "revolution" of the past 2 years was like an abortion - not a rebirth.

not to mention that in democratic process, there is another more legitimate way to remove the leader and it does not involve force. I guess that option would not have worked.

the question is who is intolerant?

Kafirs are so stupid. Removing mursi only helps the cause of jihadis. It only helps jihadis to recruit more peope.

There are so many different salafi groups. Hizb nour is just one of them. There are salafis who are pro mubarak, there are ikhwani salafis and a few others.
