    In the political market...
Maulana Fazulur Rehman/Qazi Hussain etc sells religion.
    PPP sells "roti,kapra,makan".
ANP sells "Pashtun nationalism" (although I consider them a blessing for many obvious reasons).
What does Imran Khan sell? His religious fundamentalism with sugarcoating of fake liberalism.
Imran Khan has not been able to spell out his political ideology as of yet. What is his manifesto (as precisely pointed out by Nadir Shah and BLS)? In all that glamorous avatar, he is the biggest religious fundamentalist and for that reason, the most dangerous one as well. The difference between him and other mullahs is that where mullahs openly killed Pashtuns, Imran Khan backstabed them by becoming a pro-taaliban.
"O Pakhtuns!, Your house has fallen into ruin, let us rebuild it".
"I want to see my people educated and enlightened. A people with a vision and a strong sense of justice, who can carve out a future for themselves in harmony with nature".

Where does the 70% come from? Did he take a credibility test?

Imran Khan doesn't see Pashtoon aspiration from their point of view.

Is that your only problem with him? Can't you think in terms of the political rights of Pashtuns being the primary problem? What you said is not even a secondary problem. It may not be a problem at all.

I didn't even mention the word "credibility"; and definitelly didn't make any consideration on his aspirations for Pashtuns. In any case, if I were to form an opinion on his political platform, taking in mind he would run for the presidency of the country, I wouldn't have in consideration only his aspirations for Pashtuns.

Malgariya, In the world of Imran Ahmed Khan Niazi, there are no such things as 'Pashtun aspirations'. He is bouyed by the establishment as a meek, power-hungry alternative to the real political leadership.

Wrong again. His stance on the Pashtun issues should be your only concern. To expect fair treatment from the ethnically tinged, Punjabi-dominated and rightist institutions of Pakistan

Says who? Someone trying to shove down my throat what should constitute my needs and interests, starting with Politics?

Hmmm... sorry, I pass. But good luck with the next trials.

Malgariya, when has this happened? Imran Khan has never claimed to represent the Pashtuns.

If you count yourself as a part of the Pashtun Millat, then you needs and interests should be aligned with those of the Pashtun Watan. Your existence sans the Pashtun Millat as a whole is not my concern.

Malgariya, I don't understand your point. Just because a few Pashtuns have sold themselves to the Punjabis does not mean that we should give up on our struggle and niether does it mean that the sufferings of Pashtuns in Pakistan are justified.

Malgariya, you need to cut down on Geo and ARY. Imran Khan was the foremost supporter of Gen Musharraf. He was a primary media person of the Taliban of Swat. He is the quintessential psuedo-liberal fascist.

well you have to choose between him, Zardari or nawaz sharif.
I think he is a good person and will improve Pakistan.

Firstly, I don't care about Pakistan and you shouldn't either. You seem like a proto-type apolitical, GEO inspired, Zaid Hamid/Ahmed Quraishi loving wannabe Pakistani.
Our foremost benchmark to assess someone should be his value to the Pashtun cause. Imran Khan, I repeat, was the prime media resource of the Swat Taliban. He plays with the apolitical youth of Pakistan by repeating his anti-corruption, anti-US slogans. Are you aware of his manifesto? What is in it for the Pashtuns?
If I were a Pakistani(God forbid), I would always side with the liberal forces ie PPP, and the nationalist parties.

It brings me to a conclusion that since he is a Pashtun [Niazi] he might have us in mind if hes up in the higher ministry?
Malgare, he has no sympathies for the Pashtuns. He was a supporter of the Swat Taliban. His party has never condemned the killing of innocents in Pakhtunkhwa, rather; he lays the blame blindly at the feet of US, hoping to score political points in the media and public due to anti-Americanism.
