That's precisely the problem. The most India-phobic part of Pakistan is the Panjab, when the paradox is they mirror India the most. Muslim Panjabees play the religion card as to what seperates them from India. To a point it is true because the first time Muslim Panjabees acquired power was when Pakistan happened, hence they will never let go and if (ever) all the other provinces go their own ways, I expect that the Panjab will continue blindly to call themselves Pakistan.

Amna this question was answered in a previous thread. Do a search and you will find it.Originally posted by amna View PostBut why cant we just form a united state of the two countries? It would solve 90 percent of our problems. Sort of like India, each state of India speaks its own language.

On what commonalities both should be together?Originally posted by amna View PostBut why cant we just form a united state of the two countries? It would solve 90 percent of our problems. Sort of like India, each state of India speaks its own language.
Ya it is crystal clear in pakistani establishment, and it was Ghulam ishaq khan, who aksed establishment to allocate budget for afghanistan like a fifth province. Ask any one who know a bit about pakistan about this?
What does this mean?
It means they are looking at afghabnistan as their colony, and my dear amna, to understand punjabi establishment and their policies, one will cry.
I will say, May Allah protect you from the fitna of Punjabi establishment.

It would not surprise if there were some in Pakistan who really believed in a united Muslim power corridor stretching from the Wagah border right the way through Central Asia to waters beyond the Bosphorus in Istanbul. The problem is it is not based on power sharing or devolved politics, but Panjabee pride* because the seat of this power and the capital of it might well be Lahore. Imagine how other ethnicities in this new empire would fare.Originally posted by amna View PostBut why cant we just form a united state of the two countries? *the truth is I hate it when I sound like that and really here I mean Pakistan's power elite that is Panjab centric.

It was during Dr Najeeb Government when ziaul Haq was president and Ghulam Ishaq khan was chairman senate, but he was expert in finance. They planned how to include Afghnaistan in Pakistan. Muhammad Khan Junejo refused the plan. He signed the Geneva accord and it was the reason why he was dismissed from the prime ministership.Originally posted by naziaErlangner jaan can you further elaborate the 5th province part please.
Then during PPP benazir government aslam baig (Pakistan army chief) asked benazir not to interfere in afghan policy, so Ghulam ishaq khan and army was running it. Then in 1990/1991, ghulam ishaq khan asked the government after budget, if they allocated budget for afghanistan?
Roedad Khan that time secretary finance I think, prepared the whole documents, and ghulam ishaq khan asked government afghanistan should be treated as a fifth province and it was in reality declared by ziaulhaq, but ghulam ishaq made it public, and the afghan budget fund went directly to the people fighting against Dr Najeeb.
Then what happened all of you know the story well than me.

Pardon my entrence to your amazing skill of "soft power diplomacy" orchestrated by an brilliant effort @ manipulation of religious sensitivity for a clear cut "NATIONAL AGENDA" & "Strategic Depth" though with your kind permission may i if you so i have my own preemptive suggestion which is to say how about INDIA-PAKISTAN-BANGLADESH uniting back to one country as before thus increasing the muslim polulation by 170 million(pak) +180 million (india) + 160 million (bangladesh) thus forming a population of a formidable strength of 501 million = 51crore muslims in a UNITED INDIA surely that would definitely not bode well for "PAKISTANIYAT" but hey come to think of it then at the same time it would most likely boost the strenght of the muslims in an "UNDIVIDED INDIA" that would most certainly be a GOOD thing for the muslims in a general dynamic way what do you say sir'Originally posted by Suhail Ahmad ShayanWouldnt the partition of afghanistan be a good thing though ?
i mean if the farsi speaking western afghans were to join Iran and the eastern speaking pashtuns join pakistan
wouldnt that strengthen both pakistan and iran and help unite muslims anyway
just a thought“Coffee and love are best when they are hot.”

why people cannot think, why bangladesh wanted to leave pakistan?
Reason is simple, denial of their rights of culture, language, resources, although islam was common as well there.
This all happens , as they used to insult bangladeshi people, officers, servants and their culture and language.
People who do not learn from history are always in the situation like we are today.

Originally posted by erlangner View PostMy dear, To keep the record straight, why 1992 accord under nawaz sharif in Mekkah failed is now crystal clear. Many accords which did not happen to be signed in Mekkah are valid and working, because there was a good faith and inetntion behind it:
Rehman Baba Says:
Walay Khar ba haji na shi pa tawaf.
This accord was not for the peacful and independent Afghanistan, therefore it failed. How these people were used against Dr Najibullah Shaeed, and why Dr Najibullah wa not tolerated? Because he was against interference of any, including Pakistan. Pakistan teaches the whole world, Afghans do not accept supremecy of any, they should teach themselves as well.
Why Pakistan embassy was attacked in kabul is not a hidden event. It happend and was a consequence of another event, where two Afghans kidnapped a school bus and wanted negootiation for release of their relatives and friends who were in Pakistan jails.
These two kidnappers were killed by Pakistani commandoes and then in reaction Ahmad Shah Masood said, that These days are gone when Afghans were killed countless. He expressed his reaction by saying, why Pakistan could not negotiate? Who was wrong or right, however pakistani embassador was wounded in the event as well. Readers will decide for right and wrong?
Then If Pakistan wants safeguard of it interests in Afghanistan, then there are many other ways as well. But if they we will interfere till Afghanistan gurantee safety of its interests, then it is just a dacoit and my dear it can work till afghnaistan is week, but it cannot for ever.
Make Afghanistan Friend, and see the reason why Afghanistan does not want to be your friend. Then remove first reservations of Afghanistan, and then start friendhsip, otherwise, then we see the situation in both countries.
If Afghanistan can have good relation with Iran, India, even Russia, then why Pakistan cannot do this and why pakistan need afghanistan this much. But in my opinion, pakistan want afghanistan to be an obedient neighbour, which can only happen under taliban regime.
How beautifully ligitimized, the kidnapping of innocent school children by criminals. Very good my friend. Anywayz The response was amazing by our commandos which amazed the world and set an example to deter any stupid occurence in futur again. Even that scene copied by bollywood movies. If such things allowed and state go subdued and set a precedent, then every tom and jerry will try this way to set free their criminals.
This was a striking part for me. To other part i have already made it.
If writing has a flaw of insincerity, mainly swayed by propagandistic thoughts have no ability to hold water and move the masses.

However, I will explain a bit more. what provoke these kidnappers to think for such an extreme step. But it is evident that they were no way habitual kidnappers and they did not demand money or something else, but negotiation for release of prisoned.
And why afghans are arrested and prisoned in Pakistan is agan a separate story.
For this you should read the Laleeshko title of Ajmal Khattak book, Da Afghan nang, why and for what reasons afghans are put behind the bars.
Otherwise, If you will see, my last post, I said, it is really difficult for me to decide if this act of afghan kidnappers was wrong or right. All readers will decide themselves.
Ya your commandos, great,
Pardai ghobal de, pardae hashar de

Khoshala Ossay,
will be waiting for such nice responses for fruitful discussion.

So far i remember, they demanded about a million USD. However, in any circumstances, i regard it a very disgrace action when civilian become human sheilds for their purposes. Well regarding Ajmal Khattak book, i m not sure he has written about the afghan who were residing as refugees. Because Afghanistan's Afghan have lived and living for decades but did not hear about their illigimitimate arresting. However if the case was like that, then there were many other legal ways to persuade by contacting with lawyers association etc.
Anywayz, now the striking point, about your verse in pashto, that its a war of others and we are engaged in this. Can you explain this Sir!
