I doubt you could say Sweden is the highest in rape since the vast majority of rape all over the world is not reported. If Sweden is highest according to reported data, then its the highest one where its reported.
Sweden: I think it is in Wiki as having the most rape cases per population size. Sweden also I think has a high suicide rate. I suppose it would be by reported cases. In India most rape cases probably get reported, but perhaps many will not be punished. Depends who can bribe police and judge more, perpetrators or victim.

India: I am not making any excuses for India. There have been a number of rape cases highlighted recently in India especially the one in Delhi and now this one to the Swiss tourist. There was another case in Punjab after the one in Delhi. The perpetrators should get maximum punishment especially for the Delhi and Swiss tourist cases because these seem to be extra bad.
I am not saying this new case should not be mentioned.

Pakistan/KPK: From my memory I had said 5 or 6 men..but looking at the story again, the girl said 13 men were involved. It seems they were mostly policemen. I don't have time to read whole story again, but when I had read about it last year, the child born had been abducted to prevent DNA evidence. I think the child must have been killed. Eventually this case seems to have been nothing done and not heard of again?

well so much for Pashtunwali; of course the ignorant and benamous men on this forum are going to try to blame Western culture and westernization, but there's no excuse for that in the Tribal Area, supposedly the "Heartland of Pashtunwali".....maybe the problem is Pashtun culture and not whether or not they live in the West?

@ Wahe Guru, yes I DEFINITELY also want some evidence of this newstory regarding police officers gang raping a woman and killing her baby etc. etc.

Or is this like that news story where some lady named "Muska" converted to Sikhism yet there's no evidence that such a lady ever existed in the first place. lol
You fail to understand nature. In theory India is on a path to extinction. If you have no females, you have no people and we don't really know the long term practical side effects of this yet. The Indian governmnet is doing nothing about because they view it as a way to bring the population down. Your comparing pashtuns with this shyt, your more stupid than I thought.

Khushal, I never argued that rural Indians weren't depopulating themselves. You as usual feel this obsessive and insecurity driven need to just randomly DRAG me into every issue; which tells me you know I win every debate with you and you're grasping for a chance at redemption. I responded accordingly, that just because Rural Indians destroy their own future, doesn't mean Pashtuns are somehow that much better. You're BOTH failures; in your own way of course.

In fact what this demonstrates is that you fail to understand nature since you're arguing about Nature when nothing I said had any contention with nature.

No, it is a fact that the vast majority of rape cases all over the world are not reported.

I read all three links but it does not say anything about the child being abducted or killed. It just says the court wanted to do the DNA but they had not done so. It seems like the police in the area are corrupt and wanted to do nothing for the victim and actually wanted to protect the perpatrators.

are you OK there. No one is blaming westernization plus you cant blame pashtunwali for what these sick police officers did. PAshtunwali does not endorse such action, it actually condemns it with the penalty of death.

But the Taliban protected these men and didn't you once say the Taliban represent Pashtun cultural values?

but they didn't deny involvement with the perpetrator and since Taliban claim to represent Pashtuns, this falls under Pashtun culture.

British tourist sexually assaulted, jumped out of window, injured badly in India

British woman 'jumped from India hotel to escape sexual assault'

KATIE HODGE TUESDAY 19 MARCH 2013

The Foreign Office is urgently investigating reports suggesting a British woman jumped from a hotel window to escape an apparent sexual assault in India.

The 25-year-old is said to be in a serious condition after leaping from the building in the city of Agra in the north of the country.

A Foreign Office spokesman said: “We are aware of the reports and we are urgently looking into it.

“We are in contact with our colleagues in India.”

The tourist is said to have jumped after a man forced his way into her room on the first floor, although police official Manish Sisodia said she jumped from a room on the third floor.

She was apparently taken to hospital with head injuries and fractures to both legs.

Agra, in the state of Uttar Pradesh, lies around 200km north of Datia, in Madhya Pradesh, where six men have been arrested over the rape of a Swiss tourist who was cycling in India with her husband.

The woman was attacked on Friday night when the couple stopped to camp in a forest.

The pair told police she was raped by seven or eight men but was unable to specify the precise number because it was dark.

The group of six men - said to be poor farmers from nearby villages - appeared in court yesterday charged with gang rape.

It came three months after the fatal gang rape of a woman on a New Delhi bus which sparked outrage across India and made headlines around the world.

The Foreign Office (FCO) urges women to "exercise caution" in India, even when travelling as part of a group.

Advice on its website states: "Reported cases of sexual assault against women and young girls are increasing; recent sexual attacks against female visitors in tourist areas and cities show that foreign women are also at risk.

"British women have been the victims of sexual assault in Goa, Delhi, Bangalore and Rajasthan and women travellers often receive unwanted attention in the form of verbal and physical harassment by individuals or groups of men."

Women travelling through the country are advised to respect local dress codes and customs and avoid visiting isolated areas, including beaches, alone, at any time of day.

The FCO also warns women against travelling alone on public transport, in taxis or auto-rickshaws, especially at night.

Is this something ingrained in the Hindu culture of thosands of years? Probably polyandry ( one wife for multiple men system). It seems to be in their blood. Their zoophilia, taboo and incest sculptures all of which they take as national pride.

They never denied being affiliated with the perpetrator. Go read closely.

Khushal's upset that Pashtun culture sanctions abuse to women; so much for protection.

Sure they did, the police and Taliban target each other in the area ghul. They are enemies. your so stupid.
                              here:
Uzma lives in Waziristan, a self-proclaimed state of Taliban, where recently a couple of men
came to visit her house. Instead of condemning the abduction and rape that she went through,
these men threatened her to kill the child and told that this was a direct message from the
Taliban. When this story became public the Taliban denied any sort of involvement and said that
these threats were made by local policemen pretending to be part of the Taliban.
