Op-Ed: Ahmadinejad declares Iran is already a nuclear power
The Middle East crisis continues as Ahmadinejad lands in Cairo a few months before Iran reaches nuclear weaponization. He declares that Iran is nuclear, but will not harm Israel. Analysts believe that Tehran has no nuclear weapons capability yet.
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad made his offer for a pact with Egypt to “solve the Palestinian problem, which really means wiping Israel off the map, according to Debka Files. Both Egypt and Iran dream of Israel’s destruction; therefore, they probably discussed their future attack on Israel.
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad declared that Iran now possesses nuclear technology, something the international community has worked hard to prevent. Despite fears to the contrary, Tehran says it has no interest in attacking Israel. Iran has consistently maintained its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes, a claim that is treated with suspicion in the West, according to News Max. Ahmadinejad’s word has become the joke for this year because every analyst believes that he wants to destroy Israel. Many Analysts do not believe that Tehran has any nuclear weapons capability otherwise Israel would have attacked Iran.
Analysis
During his visit to Egypt, Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad declared that Iran is “already a nuclear state.” He vowed that Iran would resist those who want them to regress technologically. Additionally, he spewed out anti-Semitic remarks claiming that the Zionists are taking over wealthy places, the economy, and the political propaganda for deceiving the global.
On the visit, Ahmadinejad offered economic support to the Egyptian government. Both Iran and Egypt have struggling economies on the brink of economic collapse, but Egyptian economy is much worse than Iran. Things have gotten so bad in Egypt that the government’s official advice to the people is to “avoid overeating” and they announced they are cutting the food subsidy by a significant number of calories per person per day. The tourism decline and foreign aid since the radical Muslim Brotherhood took power has taken a serious toll on the Egyptian economy.
And on Israel’s northern border, the Syrian civil war fighting this month has been heaviest in recent months. The capital of city of Damascus, which has been heavily defended by government forces, has come under intense attack. The ongoing struggle places the fate of Syria’s chemical and biological weapons in doubt. The Israelis Air Force have struck a few military targets in Syria and neighboring Lebanon, including what is believed to have been a chemical weapons research facility. It appears that the Mideast war involving Israel against Iran, Syria, and Egypt have already commenced without any official declaration.
