Israel’s Knesset opens with stark warning on Iran

    05/02 19:15 CET

Benjamin Netanyahu is back for a third term as prime minister, but in a weaker position having lost 11 of his Likud Party’s seats in the January 22 elections.
A record number of 48 new members of the Knesset were sworn in at the opening ceremony taking their seats for the first time.
Presiding over the opening of the Knesset was the oldest member, 77-year-old Labour politician Benjamin Ben-Eliezer, who has been a lawmaker there for 29 years. During the ceremony, Ben-Eliezer met with Netanyahu and Israeli President Shimon Peres.
However, amidst all the pomp and ceremony came a serious message from Peres, who warned the danger from Iran is growing.
The president described the Iranian leadership as a “terrifying dictatorship” which threatens the existence of Israel and world peace.
Israel believes Iran must be prevented from reaching military nuclear capabilities at any cost.

Don't you think that Israel is now a reality and instead of threatening them with hollow slogans we may learn from their democracy, development and progress in science and technology.

And why only Iran is posing a serious threat to Israel? Where are other more than 50 Arab and Muslim countries?

Lol isreal is also responsible for the current genocide of Palestinian Muslims who have been in war with each other for decades. They get all there money from foreign aid like America so they can kill more innocent Muslim? I don't think that's an agenda we should follow or anyone should follow for that matter.

Many Muslim countries like Turkey, Egypt, Albania, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan , Jordan , Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan etc have alraedy recognized Israel and have established relations.

We can be Pashtuns and countries like Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran(Iran had recognized but then severed relation after Khomeni revolution) etc who should come out of the illusion and hallucination and should face the reality of Israel and may establish relations with them.

This way we can stop the bloodshed going on there. Even Palestinians now will recognize if Israel recognize them as an independent state. Now its the other way round. Palestine has to request Israel to recognize them.

recognize israel, why? israel does not recognize a muslim palestine so why should muslim countries recognize a jewish israel? the nations who already recognized israel sold their souls and the leaders who did so will face the wrath of Allah.

we do not even know what "israel" constitutes. israel claims land as their own that is beyond its already illegitimate borders. so when one recognizes israel are they also doing so with the israeli claim to the west bank and all of jerusalem?

ill slap the face of anyone calling themselves muslim that recognizes this stain in the land of religion.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

Arabs came from Mecca and Medina and occupied the whole known land at that time from Saudi to Morocco and the whole Middle east, Central Asia and South/East Asia including Palestine and Israel so no problem but now when Jews have a tiny piece of land for themselves so such a huge hue and cry.. its not just..please be honest, objective and impartial when talking about Israel.

and yet berbers, blacks, christians, jews, and others lived in their original inhabitance and still do till this day.

i love the kike arguement of israel being "a tiny piece of land." your house is a tiny piece of land so i guess you would have no problems with strangers who say their ancestors lived in that home thousands of years ago pushing your family into a tiny room while they occupy the rest of the home and invite their family from out of state to make your tiny room even smaller.
