From what I can understand, this motive behind this move is to put pressure on the Pakistani establishment in retaliation to Pakistan's recent "high profile" moves in Afghanistan.
"If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be".

"Knowledge will forever govern ignorance; and a people who mean to be their own governors must arm themselves with the power which knowledge gives".

It is a very sad incident, condemnable by all means, but not unexpected and unusual as the bloody army and intellignece of Pakistan and its supporters are now reaping what they have been sowing during the past three decades.

BTW: at the time three terrorists entered to massacre innocent visitors to the shrine of Data Darbar in Lahore, five terrorist suicide bombers entered a non-government aid agency in Kunduz, the northern Afghan province, to kill people there. But the three Punjabi terrorists were able to kill more than 80, while the five Afghan terrorists could kill only 3 persons. It shows how Afghans have now developed their capability to deal with the terrorist problem while the Pakistanis are more vulnerable in terms of defending themselves. Also it shows how Punjabis are much more brutal and ruthless in killing innocent civilians.

I was born in Kunduz and spent my teenage in Lahore. I love both these places and strongly condemn the terrorist attacks and the criminal gangs behind them.

At the time I was in Lahore - from 1994 until late 1999 - it was okay. Pashtuns did not have any problem there. But the situation changed after 2001 because Pakistan changed its policies in light of the war on terror. To get as much money in aid from the US and Europe, Pakistan publicly outlawed all the terrorist groups fighting in Kashmir and disowned the Taliban but secretly continued to support them. The result was that Pakistan used Pashtuns all over the country in this war for getting money. They either arrested Pashtuns and sold them to the US or forced them to join insurgency. People who wanted neither of these two ways started moving from one place to another. But there were problems for them everywhere. This made them suspected in the eyes of their local neighbors and created problems. So now there are some tensions and Pashtuns are always seen as some unusual and suspected creatures in Punjab. While the Punjabi militants lead lavish lives in Waziristan and many parts of Afghanistan where they like to behead young Pashtuns during breakfast and lunch and dinner. You can say they act like complete Sari khwara (سړي خواره).

Punjab is facing the music for its own policies. The same policy which formulated to kill and destroy the Pakhtunkhwa and Afghanistan is firing back upon their own land. Wait till Shabaz Sharif condemns this Taliban act while if the same act is done in Afghanistan killing dozens of innocent Afghans, they will say its Jihad.
Same act of terrorism is haram in Pakistan but is considered of highest virtue if carried out in Afghanistan.

We have learned in school in class 6th or 7th, what you sow, so shall you reap.I was unable to understand this sentence and its meaning that time, however now I understood it 100%. Till now pakistani media air the programms, where a strong support for terrorists is there.
In my opinion, for any non-state armed individual or orgnaization must be zero tolerance. Otherwise we say in Pashto, Neem teez manam, neem na manam, situation cannot help. What Punjab sowed in kasshmirin last few decades need to be reap in Punjab.I am no way supporter of terrorists and can never be, but the way punjab laughed at the blasts in Pashtun areas, and comments were, it is the Pashtun blood or genes where violance is present. All human beings should condemn and work against any type of terrorism against any religion, any race and any contry.

At least 35 killed in Lahore blasts

LAHORE: At least two suicide bombers attacked a popular shrine in Lahore late Thursday night, killing 35 people and wounding 175 others, the city's top official said.

The attackers struck as thousands of people were visiting the Data Darbar shrine, where a famous Sufi saint is buried.

The first suicide bomber detonated his explosives in a large underground room where visitors sleep and wash themselves before praying, said Khusro Pervez, the top government official in Lahore.

Minutes later, a second bomber detonated his explosives in a large yard upstairs as people tried to flee the first attack, he said.

Police are still investigating the source of a third blast that followed the two suicide bombers.

At least 25 of those wounded in the attacks are in critical condition, said Pervez. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the bombings. -AP

This is what happens when you have a policy of supporting terrorism for the last 30 years.

A state which is founded on a sectarian point of view instead of democratic and secular tradition will have to face all these fueds between BARELVI -WAHABI,SHIA- SUNNI,MUQALID-GHAIR MUQALID etc.

Instead of contributing to humanity ,this unfortunate lot is busy in first labelling each other as infidels and heretics and then justifying their killing and then taking pride in it.

On top of it ,there are so called educated people who not only try to defend this religeous fundamentalist version of Pakistani state but also intellectualise it hence offering them selves to be the next victims of the same ideology.
