You must admit though, it is funny to watch white people get their knickers all in a bunch over the fact that a black man and a black lady live in their white house.

I think the country bumpkins get so pissed when they realize Michelle Obama can sleep in the Lincoln the bedroom whenever she wants or that Obama gets to order around a bunch of fairrangees.

I agree about the voting issue - and I asked one like minded colleague why I should even exercise the vote since Ron Paul is not an option. The above about how funny it is to what the rednecks boil over was priceless.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

thats the thing, the right will hate obama but not for what he stands for but merely because he is black. most won't dare say it but they mean it, he is a marxist black nationalist member of the muslim brotherhood to them.

if they only knew how closely obamas american empire politics coincides with the white trash vision of american exceptionalism, there would be no issues.

my pet peeve is seemingly defending people i don't like to people who are against the same people i hate but for different reasons. sometimes i come off as an obama defender because i seemingly defend his policies against his opponents when all i am trying to convey is the hypocrisy of the other side. same goes with the taliban, you have westerners that hate them but for all the wrong reasons and trying to explain why the taliban is wrong in western eyes vs afghan context is difficult.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

how do you figure that? i won't put my name behind a president if that man supports israel, the war in afghanistan or any other mandate which i disagree on. even if my vote is 1 among millions, i would be guilty.

if i live here and pay taxes, i can complain all i want.

OK this is going to piss a lot of people off, but I miss the W Bush years.

Why? Because like you say, policy is being written elsewhere. Its generallyout of the hands of even the President who is just a frontman and a patsy who wants power and as a masterful politician. Constitutionally this should not be the case, but in reality it is.

So at least in the Bush years there was entertainment. I mean that guy was funnier than any comedian in recent years.

Like the time in the debate with Kerry where Kerry discusses Bush's timber company. Bush gets confused because he is so rich as a Texas Khan he probably forgot or doesnt know he owns a timber company and accuses Kerry of lying. How he starts out his argument was a variation on the "Got Milk" commercial themes with "Got wood?"

Or the time when Tony Blaire was getting pelted with Questions from the press about all the dubious deals with the Saudi monarchy. Bush looks at Tony Blair and goes "Well Tone (his nickname for him); Im glad this is all you!"

Best of the Bushisms - YouTube

Dave Chappelles black bush summarizes it:

Dave Chappelle - Black bush - oil scene - YouTube

The full skit is longer and much more funny

eh bush deserves a lot worse than what he has right now, lets just say that. its a shame that a murderer parading around as a country bumpkin does the rounds on the late night talk shows and lives life as a quiet rock star when his soul is drenched in blood.

clinton was a pos but he didn't have to take responsibility for so many deaths with a smile on his face like bush.

in fact, i hate people who like clinton.

so you are telling me you dont want to vote but yet have the right to complain.
How do you practically complain about ,lets say if taxes are raised?
in democracy you get the right to VOTE and choose your rulers thats your responsibility. You are probably just too lazy.

As mentioned before, the US is not a democracy – it is a republic.

thats irrelevant since you still need to choose representatives.
