  • Attackers in Afghanistan wore US uniforms, destroyed six Harrier fighter jets

WASHINGTON (AP) — Coalition military authorities in Afghanistan say the insurgents who attacked a British airfield in southwestern Afghanistan on Friday, killing two U.S. Marines, wore U.S. Army uniforms and destroyed six Harrier fighter jets.
They said in a statement Saturday that about 15 insurgents carried out the attack, describing the attack as well coordinated by insurgents who were "well equipped, trained and rehearsed." Fourteen of the 15 were killed. One was captured.
They said attackers penetrated the base's perimeter and were armed with automatic rifles, rocket-propelled grenade launchers and suicide vests. Besides destroying six planes, they destroyed three refueling stations on the base and damaged six aircraft hangars.
Coalition authorities have not yet identified the two Marines killed. Eight military members and one civilian contractor were also injured in the assault.

14 of the 15 were killed but only 2 Americans killed?

that means for every American dead, 7 Talibs die so one American is stronger than 7 Talibs?

    That's pathetic

First enter a base, destroy inside 6 fighter jets, damage 2 more, kill or wound several soldiers and destroy compounds inside the base.

The coalition said the attack, which began shortly after 10 p.m. Friday, killed two NATO service members, wounded several others and damaged multiple aircraft and structures.
Coalition forces returned fire and killed 18 militants. One other insurgent, who was wounded, has been detained and is being given medical treatment, the coalition said. NATO service members, who cleared the base of attackers early Saturday, were still assessing the damage to aircraft and buildings on the air field.
There are different accounts of the attackers number.

But both accounts demonstrate that only 2 soldiers killed while MOSt of the attackers were killed

Taliban are weak and useless it should be 18 Soldiers killed, and 2 Taliban; if Taliban were really Muslims that's how it would be.
